The main features of the flame retardant PVC cable or wire is hard to get fire or that the continuous burning of cables is very limited when it is on fire. It applies to the places with special demands for flame retardant property. Flame retardant cable is classified as class A,B or C. Amongst the 3 class, class A is best, while C worst.
Fire-resistance cable can operate normally for some time when it is burning except that it can transmit electrical power under normal condition. It is used in the places with special demands for fire resistance property.
The Main Feature of Cable(wire)
Rated voltage Uo/U is 450/750 volt, 300/500 volt or 300/300 volt.
Permissible continuous working temperature of cable conductor
——for type of cable RV-105 and BV-105, the temp-erature should be less than 105℃
——for others, the temperature should be less than 70℃.
Ambient temperature should be not less than 0℃, and permissible bending radius of cable for fixed connecting should be as follows during installation.
——for O.D. less than 25 millimeter, equal to or greater than 4 time O.D.
——for O.D. less than 25 millimeter, equal to or greater than 6 time O.D.
Flame retardant cable should pass the test of bunched cables or wires under fire conditions which is described in the standards of GB/T 18380.3-2001.
Fire resistance cable should pass the test of fire resistance stipulated in the standards of GB/T 19216.21-2003.- Q:i have a lightning audio amp, it was wokring a few months ago when i pulled it out of my car, i tried yesterday to see if it worked, it turned one for 5 seconds and went into protection mode, so i tested it with the battery and it did the same, and the cables got hot, and help please
- yeah you probably need bigger hots and grounds your wires should never get hot
- Q:I'm trying to plan out my new install and I'm debating whether or not to spend money on power cable adapters and run o gauge to a distribution block thats 0g in and 4g out, therefore running a 0 to 4g cable adapter inbetween every terminal on the distribution block --or-- to Instead run 0 to the distribution block and 4 from the block to everything. I have a 1200RMS sub amp and a 200RMS 4-Channel amp. Hi output alternator. Big 3. So if anyone can give me some advice on whether or not they're worth the money that would be awesome. Oh and my amps accept 4 gauge.
- well hell yeah if you did the big 3 upgrade and end up useing 4gauge wire or thinner it will burn the wire or at least end up corroting it its too much current running through the wire and it might work for awhile but the wire will end up turning brown from the inside just go for the wire upgrade good luck
- Q:I am getting a new 160 amp high output alternator for my 2005 Mazda 3 2.3L. I am running a 1000w amp with two subs. I have the stock alternator in it right now. There are two power cable kits available for me to get. One that has 4 gauge wire with a 100 amp fuse and the other, 1 gauge with 150 amp fuse. Which kit should I get? Can I just add 4 gauge wire along with my stock wire instead of the 1 gauge kit? What are the fuses for and which one would work better? I know nothing about this. Thanks.
- I would go with the 1 ga wire. The fuse keeps the wire from setting your car on fire. The size of the alternator does not matter. The battery should supply 700 amps or so.

- What ever size you decide on, to avoid wasting money, do like I do. Go to local welding shop deliver and purchase your cable there. It will not be a horny neon color just basic black, however for the price which you could darn near double wire gage for the same rate of beautiful neon company. Also outer insulation will manage virtually any temperature or climate it's going to ever be exposed to. Additionally they have just right decision of grounding lugs made of solid copper.
- Q:Hey guys, I noticed that with heavy use of the power cord to my laptop, a part of the rubber surrounding the cord is open near the insertion part and you can see the wires. - Yes I'm sure this would work. Just solder the red and black wires to an other usb cable and leave the other 2 data ones going into the computer. Plug the power usb cable into your adaptor and It should work. The device is still getting the 5volts it needs so I see no reason why it shouldn't work.

- Bad wiring in the house? Sounds at least like a situation like that. Not uncommon in buildings of certain times.. older types of wiring used. And worse not ready for todays amount of electronics. So yeah check the wiring. In between time buy a few extension boxes, you know the type with more then 1 electronic socket. But most important a switch. That way you can switch it off and that way such discharges won't happen any more.

- You can go out and find a splitter or remove your floppy drive and get an usb floppy drive if uyou really need it

- Sounds like you have a good battery. Is the battery plugged in when you try to connect with the cord? Does your battery charge when the cable is plugged in? If not, you may need a new power cable. Use a VOM (VOLT OHM METER) on it and do a continuity check to ensure connection is good. If that's not the problem, it may be the DC Plugin port.
