Q:What can soften the glue that sticks the plastic tube?
Put into the water, so that it can prevent the plastic pipe damage, or can make the glue melt at high temperature.General decoration is hot melt method, followed by not glue. If it's glue, it's the PVC solvent. Demolition is not good, usually replaced.
Q:Can mercury be stored in a hard plastic test tube?
If it can b stored in a thermometer, it can be stored in a test tube. You should seal it though
Q:I have a long flexible 1 plastic tube that is attached to itself forming a closed circuit and I'd like to add an electric blower to it to flow air continuously that will make a small ball go around continuously. I'd like to splice the blower into the 1 plastic tube but need to know where or how to exhaust the air to keep the air circuit moving continuously in one direction.
The problem is not how to connect the blower, the problem is how to get the small ball to go through the blower (which you can't). What you have to do is to deflect part of the air in the tube to the blower input without allowing the ball to go that path. And then the blower pressurizes the air and injects it downstream of the pick off port. A high pressure low volume blower or pump might be best. That means a small pick off port and a small injection port.
Q:Just basic plastic tubing for a project in school. An inch in diameter is fine (big enough for a marble to go through), and I'd need a few feet (enough to make 5 loops + an initial hill).I can't find any info on prices online. I've only found heavy duty stuff which are hundreds of dollars. Can I buy this type of stuff for cheap (how much on average?) at some sort of hardware store?
vinyl tubing is pretty cheap - I would imagine around a dollar a foot or less for that size
Q:The connection between the plastic tube and the metal tube seems not so simple
Plastic pipes with outer diameter as standard, usually 20, 32, 40, 50, 60, 70, 110, etc., all with inner diameter and corresponding wall thickness
Q:Can plastic tubes be used for architectural lighting installations?
Yes, plastic tubes can be used for architectural lighting installations. They are commonly used as light diffusers to enhance the visual appeal of the lighting fixtures and create a desired lighting effect. Plastic tubes are lightweight, flexible, and easy to install, making them a popular choice for architectural lighting projects. Additionally, they come in various sizes, shapes, and colors, allowing for customization and creative design possibilities.
Q:I still have the fork tubes mounted to the bike. I have removed the cap, spacer tube, washer, spring, damper bolt (from the bottom of the tube) and removed the damper and short spring. I have pried the dust cap (rubber seal) and slid it all the way up. There is a piece of plastic? or nylon? that is blocking the circlip(I assume). I do not have a manual for this bike but I can not get one for a few days, so the help would be great!!
Just pry the plastic ring up (nothing is holding it). Perhaps it's stuck to the foam ring underneath it. After you remove the circlip, the the fork tube and lower will have to be pulled apart. The fork seal is in very tight. Hold the tube in one hand and the lower in the other hand. Push the forks together. Yank them apart with force (a bushing inside of the forks will hit against the seal like a slide hammer). They won't come apart in one pull. Push them - in - OUT -in - OUT - in - OUT
Q:I'm building a computer and I got to the liquid cooling option and I can't decide between copper tubing and plastic tubing. I've seen plastic tubing and know that plastic is easier to detach, but I think copper might cool the components better. Any suggestions?(Note-this is not a budget build by any means-I want to know which one performs better, not what's the best bang for your buck)
Copper is better bang but needs to be bent for each component. Plastic is flexible and just needs to be cut to length
Q:How do you prevent plastic tubes from becoming discolored?
To prevent plastic tubes from becoming discolored, it's important to avoid exposing them to direct sunlight and harsh chemicals, as these can cause discoloration over time. Storing them in a cool and dark place can help maintain their original color. Additionally, regular cleaning with mild soap and water can prevent any buildup or stains that may contribute to discoloration.
Q:I'm a 14 year old guy. Since I was about 8, I've carried around in my pockets little 'facsimiles' of things around me. If I watch a TV show view a website, or even walk down the street, I have to handle them and imagine they're objects that I see. For example, if I see a train on TV, I remove a little 1cm by 4cm piece of mousepad from my pocket and mentally substitute it for the floor of one of the train cars. I've gone through clothing tags, cut-up business cards, et cetera for 4 years. It's the same for tubes; I use a pencil grip for pipes, airplanes, or even people's limbs. It any of this a recognized psychological condition?
No do what you want to do I even wonder if i should be always doing almost the same thing with my Tamagotchi V$.Its just the way you see things other people may see it but not see what your doing. My point is that never let anyone say your crazy just do it.Nothing wrong with little tubes of plastic or little squares.Well every person is different,You just have a huge imagenation! Its okay to have a immagenation most people i know dont have but a thimble full of it.
