FAQ

1.    For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?

—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.

2.    What is the MOQ for this tile?

—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.

3.    Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?

—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.

Q: Home selection tiles, which brand to choose that good?
This depends on your home budget, and what you care about. Is the brand or the price, or is it cost-effective? But you can go to Baidu under the tiles of the top ten brands, first understand the next brand and the corresponding price, you can also consider buy, cost is relatively high
Q: so i bought tile but not the bull nose end pieces cause they did not have them for that tile. I tiled all the way out to the edge of the counter and now need a way to finish the edge. I have seen wood edges but what is this called and how do you do it? does it butt up against the tile of does it go over? is a wet tile saw supposed to leave ugly, chipped edges? bought a Brand new blade and it did not help.
Yes, wet saws leave unfinished edges. They're meant to cut a tile not finish it. You didn't mention what type of tile you're dealing with, but I'm going to assume its ceramic for the sake of this answer. You have a few options. First, you can finish with an oak counter trim piece. Many home improvement retailers sell them unfinished. You can buy one, stained and seal it, then silicon it on. Second, you can bullnose. Remember here, a line of grout can be your friend. It will help give an overall finished appearance. Third, some styles of tile (usually the expensive ones) come with something called a V-cap. It looks exceptional on counter top edges. It will give a rounded appearance to your edging. A bead of grout finishes the bottom. I hope you bought this tile at a home improvement retailer with employees on site to help you. Go back to the store and talk over ideas with them. Take a sample of the tile with you. The people that work for me would be able to help you solve this problem in a heartbeat. Any properly trained employee at a retailer should be able to help you.
Q: I am tiling my kitchen countertop and want to put in some wood trim pieces around the front edge like is in newer homes with tile countertops. What I want to know is, where in Lowe‘s can I get that? Is it going to be with all of the moulding, etc., and am I looking for something inparticular? Thanks!
Wood Tile Countertop
Q: We are thinking of putting nonporous wall tile on walls in our kitchen ... even above the stove. The tile there may get some splatter from cooking so I‘m wondering how difficult is it to clan a nonporous tile? I am assuming it is fairly easy, but would love to hear what the community thinks.
Nonporous tile is very easy to clean. You can remove grease and grime with regular dishwashing liquid...just a drop on a clean sponge. Scrub with this and wipe with a clean wet rag. I think you'll like the tiles. Nonporous tiles are a piece of cake to keep clean. -
Q: I am renovating, and have always loved white coloured tiles but am now starting to like these light coloured hardwood Tasmanian Oak Floorboards ....I have no idea on prices yet, what would cost more? and which one would look more beautiful??PS- i would NEVER put floating floorboards - they are cheap and nasty!
Hardwoods are classic. You can never go wrong with hardwood floors as far as resell value. I renovated two years ago. We have a 1500 sq/ft home. We did tile in the bath and hardwoods everywhere else. My husband wanted to tile the kitchen as well but we were talked out of it due to labor costs. Cleaning tile grout is troublesome, sealing it is ineffective if you have food stains or mud or something. My tile floors are very pretty but I regret it. Be sure to get real hardwood with NO laminate at all. Some hardwood floors are real wood on the surface but laminated onto a synthetic bottom. Be careful that way. Things to ask before choosing: How many times can they be refinished? Are they glued or nailed? (Glued are crappy, nailing is much more effective.) How do I clean them? (I use a steamer, no chemicals.) Will my subfloor support the hardwood? (we had to install a new subfloor). Oak and Hickory are the best HARD woods to choose from.
Q: My husband and I are thinking about putting tile on our front porch. It‘s 10 x 13 roughly size room. Would 6x6 size tiles look better or would 12x12? What do you think?
I okorder , All of these websites will have great suggestions on pattern.
Q: How hard is this? Is this someone with 0 experience do? I wanna remove my girlfriends jacked up rug and install tile since she has two puppies. What do you guys recommend?
It depend on how big the job is. You need to tear out the carpet and the padding, the tack strip around the floor need to come up too. Then you got to clean the floor good. If the floor is concrete it should easily clean, if it wood it might take longer. Now it depend on the tile or ?, I would recommend something that would be easy and the best bet would be vinyl tile or 12ft sheet goods, it depend on the layout of the house or ?....So So I would get expert advice from a flooring store, avoid Home depot or Lowes. Good Luck.
Q: How to effectively remove the glue marks on the tiles?
4, in the removal of the time, whether it is to use to light water or vinegar, be sure to make these supplies completely soaked double-sided adhesive marks, can be easily and effectively remove Oh! 6, with soap plus a little ammonia and turpentine mixture , Can remove many dirt and make the glass surface more shiny (this article applies to tiles, ceramics, glass, etc.). 7, with a good sticky transparent glue repeatedly tear, you can remove some of the surface 8, with a little letter of sodium water on the wipe off, or paint can be thin .9, with a cotton swab dipped in water to wipe. 10, wind oil fine wipe. 11, use a special cleaning agent or sports shoes to remove the cream wipe.
Q: What is the drill bit?
We generally use a small sandblasting bit on the market can buy a good use
Q: Do you think that it will be dangerous to my children if I put tile throughout my whole home... Falls etc. Thanks for the advice for those who have experience with this! :)
I had tile in a mudroom and foyer and kitchen in couple homes last of which I had my babies grow in. They never once fell on it and they lived from ages newborn and up to 6 yrs. There is also a No Run in house policy for us too. They learned to be careful naturally I guess. I do whatever I want and children adapt just fine. The only problem was if ever glass fell and shattered which luckily never happened. I am again trying to decide on a current house on what to do in Kitchen - and leaning toward tile again. Some tiles aren't slipperly at all because they are almost gritty with a non slip surface.
