FAQ

1.    For Polished Porcelain Tile, is the 30*60 available?

—— Yes, 30*60 is available. Due to the basic size is 60*60, we need to cut 60*60 tile into 30*60. 6 pcs are packed into one carton.

2.    What is the MOQ for this tile?

—— Normally the MOQ is 1382.4 m2 for one 20’ container. To support our clients, we could go with 3 models to fill one container at most.

3.    Can we use the carton with our own design and brand name?

—— Yes. Normally we go with Neutral Carton or our Carton with our CMAX brand name. But for carton of client’s own design, the MOQ for one size is 5 containers, due to the carton factory can’t arrange production if quantity is below 5000 pcs.

Q: My husband ( yes...the one with the dents in his head from the cooker hood ) is fixing rustic tiles in my kitchen. He has done loads of tiling with plain tiles ( i.e straight edges!!) but we're wondering about spacing these with irregular edges. Very little advice on the web apart from to space them more widely which doesn't really help! Anyone done this and pleased with the result?
Boy Boy and Julie are right about these types of tile.. One thing they didn t hit on is the type of tile can make a difference on the spacing. The body type and the thickness will effect the type of grout you use and thus the spacing also..From experiance ( 20 years) I m guessing you ll need a sanded grout and a minimum of 1/8 inch spacing from the way you discribe the tile..If they have a rounded type edge keep the space to and 1/8 th inch since when you grout it flush that round edge will cause the grout joint to widen and look like 1/4 inch space..If there a square edge then you cal go to maybe 3/8 or 1/4 inch depending on the look you like and just how much outta size they are..GL any ?? e mail me
Q: On those tiles, can you skate on them with ice skates. I was thinking about getting them but I wasn‘t sure. Last but not least, is there a different kind of tiles that are cheaper. Thanks!
I think I understand your question, the tiles you can't skate on unless you have roller hockey skates, it's called sport court. I play roller hockey and ice and the tiles for roller SUCK! If I were you I'd just go fin a certain kind of paint I can't recall the name of the brand, but paint the garrage floor with it and you can skate in there and stick handle if you have enough room. Hope this helps
Q: CAN YOU LAY TILE OVER TILE
If your existing tile is tight to the floor and in good shape (no cracks, loose tile, loose grout) yes you can. You need to use a thin set with a very high latex content like TEC Superflex. Be sure that the existing tile and grout is perfectly clean and there are no sealers left on the grout. This is an industry accepted method.
Q: We're remodeling our bathroom and looking for tile. Thanks in advance!
if i was you i would first go to a tile shop ...many shops ..and find the tiles you really like first ..take down their number and batch number ..they vary a lot in shade ..then see if you can get the same on the net ..in my experience ..you can do as well in the shop as on the net ..they are all so easier to deal with if something goes wrong
Q: We recently renovated and trying to save money, we did the tile ourselves after some research. We used thinset, then backerboard, screwed the backer-board down (extra screws in high traffic areas) then thinsetted the tiles down according to instructions using a 1 inch trowel and grouted. Most of the rooms are fine (for now) but here‘s the problem:Through the main pathway, we started hearing what sounded like a sandy noise. Not good as the thinset is sandy. Today, I‘ve noticed that the grout along a few of the tiles is beginning to crack meaning the tiles must be flexing. The tiles are discontinued, have brand new cabinets on top of them and won‘t be easy to take out and replace. What should I do? Would putting large rugs over it help, with the intention of cushioning the footsteps?

Q: Is there a low price in imported tiles?
One of the top ten brands of tiles: gold platinum Riley tiles ????Gold Platinum Rally Gambarelli Group has been committed to product development, has been three international patents: Double Face (double face), Oxygena (atmospheric purification brick), MetalStone (metal brick). These three patents represent the Gambarelli Group in product technology research and development achieved important results, its leading other brands of products in the frost resistance is also a good embodiment of high-tech technology. At the same time, the Italian Ministry of Environment has admitted that tiles containing titanium dioxide are environmentally friendly (see Official Gazette Document n 84/04) and cited the valid certificates of the Gambarelli Group as an effective standard for the industry. One of the top ten brands of imported tiles: Gardine tiles ????"Gardner" was formally established in 1961. From the beginning, "Gardner" is committed to design and development, its number of designers is all Italian factories, and even the world's largest ceramic tile factory, and "Gardner" also often employ world famous design As a theme design consultant. In terms of style, "Gardner" always adhere to the European court gorgeous and elegant design style. In terms of production, "Gardner" has always adhered to local production, never to reduce costs and set up factories overseas. It is precisely because of this insistence, "Gardner" has become the benchmark for the world tiles. One of the most proud of the Gardner honors is that Gardner is the first factory in the world to show tiles with a model, which changes the way the world displays tiles.
Q: All together, which one is more expensive to install and buying the tile or wood? Thanks!!! And if you can, leave site names.
It depends entirely upon the type and quality of tile (glazed porcelain will typically be less expensive than stone or travertine), or if you are installing real hard wood, or laminate, where you buy the tile/laminate/hardwood (an outlet, home depot, costco) and if you are doing it yourself, or hiring it done, which will of course automatically make it more expensive if you hire it done. Once you decide the look and feel you want for your room or house that may help you to decide further. I hope this helps!
Q: I had asked the guy I am seeing to go somewhere with me tonight and he said he had to prep the floor before laying the tile? He has been working on a flooring job, but what do you do to prep a floor? Is this the same whether with tiles or hardwood?
Preping the floor for tiling can involve multiple things: First tile cannot be layed on any kind of surface It has to be dry and very solid without any movements or the tile or the grout will crack after some time, so it might involve some extra screws on a plywood floor removing cushion floor etc. If the floor is uneven or not level this has to be fixed before laying the tile also, this may include pouring some self leveling concrete to level the floor. The floor surface has to be completely clean before laying the tile, so brooming, removing baseboards etc. He may also chalk some lines as reference points before laying the tile. Hope this helps
Q: Laying 225 Sq ft of 18x18 tile on flat slab. Using Ultraflex II thinset (white) w/ 1/16 spacers. Cannot find a 3/4 trowel to apply just to floor...can I use 1/2 sq notch trowel if I apply to floor and back of tile as well when I set them???
luke has you covered, I'd lay one let it set up I have had natural stone change color after being put in a bed of thin-set
Q: Two tiles are randomly chosen one at a time and placed in the order in which they were chosen. Determine the probability that the tiles are:i.COii.Both vowels
i) 1/7 * 1/6 = 1/42 ii) 3/7*2/6 = 1/7
