- Q:I'm moving away to college in September and I don't know what to get. I want something to sleep on thats a decent size off the ground, comfy, can fit two people on it comfortably and isn't expensive. What should I get and does anyone know where I can get it at a good price?
- Go with the futon. They make really nice ones these days, not the traditional ugly wood frame and boring mattress thing over it. Some look like couches that just fold open into a bed, those are the nice ones... especially the tufted ones. Not only are futons nicer, they're cheaper than sofa beds. They're also weigh a lot less. Sofa beds are HEAVY. And of course, also, futons can double as sofas, saving you space. Good luck!

- Q:i dont want to re-upholstery my sofa. its too expensive. it costed me a lot. the stain came from sweat and dust.
- Try woolite with resolve for upholstery on the sofa, spot shot on the carpet. if you don't have a steam cleaner, rent a rug doctor from your local grocery store, or walmart be sure to get the upholstery attachments. Buy a small bottle of carpet cleaner for the machine, a can of spot shot a small can of oxi-clean. Pretreat with the spot shot, add 1 scoop of oxi-clean to the water with the carpet cleaner clean the sofa carpet. Add 1 scoop oxi-clean with every water refill (and the capful of shampoo) it should all look like new. I use this method everytime I clean my light beige carpets it works great.

- You will need to kill the bacteria that will cause a smell and need to get to as many areas as you can. Use Em Clean which will kill the bacteria. Spray liberally all over the leather and any other accessible areas. It is tested and safe to use on rather and fabric. If you have Aniline style leather ( one that is absorbent) the urine is likely to stain the leather. You can use an aniline cleaner which will help with this if the Em Clean doesn't Please do not use household cleaners or soap as these may set the stain and also will not kill the bacteria. - It says the Thickness: 7 1/8 That is typically too thick and will not fold back down into the sofa. Traditionally sofa beds are known for not being very comfy. To thin, so you cannot build it with enough padding or coils. You may want to use the existing mattress and just add a topper too it for comfort.
