Q:hi guys, i just got some spitifre wheels like 2 months ago i‘d say. and i‘ve noticed that they starting to cone out a tiny bit. when would u say its time to get new wheels, and how far would they generally be coned out to when you need to replace them. in other words how badly should they be coned in order for them to need replaced. thanks guys!: If they are coning, turn the wheels around, and swap them diagonally (for instance, front left wheel goes to bottom right, bottom left wheel goes to top right etc). This will make the coning gradually even out. The only time I replace my wheels is if they are flatspotted, becoming small, when they are all mangled up from skating on rough concrete, or just when I fancy a change.

Its not huge and its felt more when I turn the steering wheel while the car is stationary. What could be the cause of this? I kind of sense that the play is right behind the wheel itself. The rear wheel has a hub designed to fit cogs, which is what propels the bike. Once you remove them from the bike it will become obvious. The cogs can't attach to the front wheel. Don't think bike companies haven't tried, though. There were some pretty ingenious attempts at making both wheels the same back in the 70's, where the cogs were 'outboard' of the frame, but it was actually too complicated/expensive to produce at the time. Oh and yes to your 2nd part, the tires are the same size. Those on the other hand are interchangeable.
