- Q: The additive inverse of -0.8 is?
- The additive inverse of a number is the number you need to add in order to get zero. This means that the additive inverse of -0.8 is +0.8.
- Q: True or False? Explain please.
- i imagine its pretend because more suitable farmers are centred on growing to be more suitable corns than different plants. because the aggravating is more suitable for corn to make ethanol or gasoline. also, soybean can't replace for corn to make ethanol or gasoline to provide the choose of shoppers. the upward thrust in a unmarried sturdy (corn) will reason the decrease in different sturdy (soybean).
- Q: that are still allowed.
- Yes.The front tire being narrower dissalows the proper ability to stop the motorcycle and properly corner their by creating a hazardous condition for the rider. In this case the tires are not inter changeable because one has a 17 rim and the other has a 19 rim.Have a great day.
- Q: a)0 b)2 c)5 d)-4i know its not -1 or -4 since1 * -1 equals -1 and 2 * -2 equals 4so what is it guys?also, here's a few more questions (yes i know, im stupid)1. a perfect square is the product of any integer and itself. how many perfect squares are factors of 2x4x6x8x10?a) 5 b)4 c)3 d)22. if the circumference of a circle is 4cm, its area is ___cm^2.a) 4/pi b)16/pi c)4pi d)16 pi3. if n is a whole number, which of the following could equal n^3?a) 2.7x10^27 b)2.7x10^28 c)2.7x10^29 d)2.7x10^304. a right triangle can have at most ___ of length 5.a) 3 sides b) 2 sides c) 1 side d) 0 side5. if i add the digits of my phone's extension number, i get 28. the numbers can't have __ digits.a) 3 b)4 c)5 d)7explanations would be nice. (:if you can just answer the most you can, it'd be appreciated.thank you.
- assuming youre dealing with the integers first one: i would say 0, but it would appear that a number multiplied by its additive inverse is always negative, which would make 2, 5, both also correct; however, since 0 has no additive inverse, and the only way to multiply a number to get 0 is by 0, i think 0 is the most correct answer. second question: factorize the numbers: nvm got this one wrong, other ppl got it tho. third question: circumference = pi*diameter then 4/pi = diameter = 2*radius. so radius = 2/pi we know area = pi * r^2 = pi * (2^2/pi^2) = 4/pi so the answer is 4/pi fourth question: a or d. you want the third root of the given number to be a whole number, and fractional exponents (third roots of b and c) are not whole number usually... fifth question: 2 sides sixth question: 3 digits. the biggest digit is 9 and 3*9 = 27<28
- Q: What is the additive invers of 3+2iand can you please explain it? thanks. :D
- The additive inverse of a number is the number multiplied by -1. Additive inverse of 3+2i -(3+2i) -3-2i
- Q: is 1 an additive identity and please explain
- The identity element of a group has the property that if you combine it with any other element, x, of the group using the group operator, you get x. The additive identity of a field is the same thing, except that it applies to the field's addition operator. It is the value I* such that x + I x. *I'm somewhat abusing the notation here. I is the customary symbol for the identity matrix. The additive identity for a field usually is named 0, hopefully for obvious reasons.
- Q: I have montero with 208k and it burns oil, I put in stp high mileage oil treatment and it did do a little good to the engine, but I am more convinced to use lucas oil stabilizer nxt time. Pls suggest some good additives that will work.
- I worked in a few lube shops over a 10 year period and i would swear by the lucas motor additive. Not only does it help with oil burn off, but i've witnessed it quiet down top end noise. Not only is the oil additive good, but all their fluid lines work. I've seen the power steering additive stop a power steering leak, and the transmission additive has made a transmission with gears that slip drive normal. I would definately go with the lucas.
- Q: Fred Meyers offers a .10 discount per gallon of gas but I‘ve never seen them advertise any type of fuel additives like Chevron‘s Techroline. Additives such as Techroline helps prevent fuel deposits and carbon build up inside the engine, valves, and fuel injectors. I have often wondered if FM sells their gas cheaper because it does not contain any beneficial additives. Can anybody clarify this? Thanks.
- It doesn't have techroline but most gas stations don't have theses additives either. I think most if not all gas stations now have 10% ethanol additives (not benficial but it is an additive).
- Q: Car had had oil change a 1000 miles ago and was not scheduled for change for anothr2 thousand we have routine maintenance done 1998 ford escort LX 271,000 Ford did a 75 dollar full diagnostics check and told us it needed a tune up.sears was cheaper.we went and got it done.sears said they added some type of additive [[Ford found no problems before with engine just needed tune up and brake work front brakes brand new now]] car had a new weird vibartion to it after sears did tune upthey said they added some type of additive didn‘t say much else other then get a full tank of gas in it to help. Car broke down after driving less then a quarter of a mile.did they accidentally put oil in? did they put something in the oil which caused it? The ford place has it and quoute on quote said what the heck did sears do there is oil overflowed Please help
- its sears what you expect thats where all the joke mechanics work they beat on the car's while bringing em in and **** THERE IS NO REASON TO NEED TO PUT A FUEL ADDITIVE IN AT ALL WHATSO EVER
- Q: I‘ve been using the top grade gasoline (ultimate) from BP ONLY whenever I fill up but should I once in a while use techron plus, seafoam spray, or seafoam treatment for my 2000 Altima gxe with 94,000 miles. And is it more effective to use them and then get an oil change asap ? OR should I not bother with these additives?
- i would be inclined that you are experancen condesation from the heat of the eng and the cold of the wether mixing and crating water in your exhaust pipes and is exiteng out the exsased tail pipe casing a water drip normaly you would see this in a steam but yours is making water drops and will go away as the temp hearts up come spring
