- Don't worry too much about what the cord says. Worry about the power requirements on the appliance label, and making sure you are feeding it with the voltage required, with a capacity within the range. In your instance, you will need a converter transformer that converts your outlet voltage to 100V, and has 550 or larger watt capacity.
- Q: What models and specifications does the cable have? Do not understand the cable with the power cable is not the same thing, or contains the relationship?

- Yes you need a power supply for all 3.5 inch drives. The laptop drives on the other hand will power off USB. Is this a SATA or ESATA drive? You can buy an enclosure for the SATA for around 35.00 and 70.00 + for a good ESATA enclosure. The cheaper ones do not work to well with the ESATA. If it's EIDE then you can get one off OKorder for around 12.00. Good luck.

- No, you can use the power cable for a computer on the PS3. It is a standard shape and can be purchased from any good computer shop. The PS2 uses a transformer and the pin alignment is different. Just get a proper cable, they are really cheap anyway.

- Euro is 220v to 250v or thereabouts, U.S. is only 110v. That's why your old PSU blew up. You needed to buy a step down voltage converter for avout 15 Euros or so. The Xbox PSU itself will handle the mains for whichever country it was designed for and convert the power to a DC voltage of 12v for any Xbox 360.

- I have the HD 3870 and I do not recall it having 3 power connectors. There is only one, which is the 6pin. Only the 3870X2 and the 2900 have two power connectors which are 6pin and 8pin. Read the manual. You might be looking at jumpers or sound connectors and putting power to those items will cause you to fry your good card.
