Brief Introduction

LWA Series slurry pumps are cantilevered, horizontal, centrifugal slurry pumps. They are designed for handling abrasive, high density slurries in the metallurgical, mining, coal, power, building material and other industrial departments etc. The pumps of this type also can be installed in multistage series.


The frame plates for LWA slurry pump such as interchangeable, hard metal or pressure mouleded elastomer liners. The impellers are made of hard metal or pressure cast elastomer liners.


The shaft seals for LWA slurry pump can be adoptable of gland seal for centrifugal shaft seal. The discharge branch can be positioned at intervals of 45 degree by request and oriented to any eight positions to suit installations and applications.

Yes, the impeller could be broken. Believe it or not, the belt could be on wrong. If by chance it was replaced recently, it is possible to put the belt on the wrong side of the pulley. It should be running on the bottom side, not the top-next to the little plastic cover.
