- Q:I want it to be easy to use.
- Call me crazy, but unless your husband is way different than mine, I don't think he will be too thrilled about a vacuum for his birthday.

- I'm a Vac Tech. Listen to the Simplicity person. That's a good vac. One of the best on the market. The Riccar is a sister company, both of which are manufactured in St. James Missouri. American made. The Riccar has a 5 year warranty and service plan though. The 8955 model is the best buy. Probably the best buy on any vacuum. The other Top brands are gonna be Miele and Sebo. Both German Manufactured. You really can't go wrong with any of them. Piece of advice, stay away from the hype. Most of those are toys and don't hold up. You can dump a lot of money into something at a department store that isn't worth much. You can't go yell at the 17 year old kid that recommended the Dyson to you at Walmart, but if you buy off of an independent dealer you can. Those dealers realize this and want to keep you happy, so they usually want sell you junk. Besides all those manufactures I listed will bend over backwards to make sure you get taken care of, if the dealer doesn't.
- Q:Why is it a good marketWhat are the riskse.g. for a company selling vacuum cleaners
- Wall to wall carpeting such as you would see in western countries is not popular in Chinese apartments, so vacuum cleaners would be a poor product choice to market there. As they become more affluent and better able to afford medical care, such things a s medical diagnostic equipment will likely have a market.
- Q:Who vacums when its pitch black???
- I think they have lights to help the user see under furniture better or even to see the reflections of dirt on a surface. I know I use the lights on my vacuum to determine whether I really got all the dirt out from under tables chairs.
- Q:We have a mischievious dog in the house that keeps chewing and destroying things. The power cord he severed belonged to a Kenmore Progressive Direct Drive vacuum cleaner and it will take about $25 to replace, rather than buying a whole new vacuum cleaner. I was wondering if anyone thought it was a dumb idea to attempt to remove the back part and replace this cord or if it could be done at all? If you have any experience or knowledge in the structure of vacuum cleaners, your input would be greatly appreciated. :) The model number is 11635923500.
- It is tricky even if you know how, it's a good idea to watch someone else do it the first time, or you can try to figure out how yourself, I would pay a vacuum shop to repair it if I weren't very much of a handyman, no need to buy a new vaccum. Good luck and tie up that bad dog.
- Q:what is the fear of vacuum cleaners getting near your feet called? because idk why but every time a vcuum comes near my feet i flinch and have a mini heartattack.... anyone wanna tell me? (:
- There does not appear to be a scientific term to specifically describe a fear of vacuums. Perhaps the fear stems from the loud noise the equipment makes or anxiety that you might lose something valuable while you operate it, a dropped wedding ring for example. The suction capability of most vaccuums is not enough to cause serious injury, but it may be enough to cause you to worry. Traumatophobia is the fear of injury. Ligyrophobia is the fear of loud noises.
- Q:Are there any products that work well, e.g. cleaners, mops, wet/dry vacuum-mops?
- I've used swiffer and orange glow cleaners.. Orange glow can soemtimes have a bit too much oil and leave a little residue. Swiffer works well as a cleaner but can leave streaks if you pump too much fluid.. The most important thing about laminate is not to use too much water or liquid on the floor. Keep cleanser and water at a minimum, otherwise the flooring could warp. Also depends on the quality of laminate you have. Best advice is to see if the Brand you purchased makes a specific cleaner.. I know Bruce brand does.
- Q:would the world be sucked up and disapper.
- HAhA, this is funny. But I believe it won't. UNLESS! Unless there are really BIG, GINORMOUS vacuum out there that are sucking at the same time. LOL
- Q:Anyone have any experience with a Dyson?
- I use a dyson on my floors and it works wonderful, though i don't use the power head on the hard wood floors and the rotation on the brush can cause damage but the normal head that comes with it is fantastic. Some vaccums have ranges where they are suited for pet hairs I am not sure about dyson as I don't have pets in the house, but with 2 girls in the hosue with long long hair it helps to have a good vaccum and my choice is dyson!
- Q:nan
- Well Hoover Is good as long as you pick out a good model not a cheapo one. I own a Simplicity That has been Pretty good. I have had It for like 12 years or so. They also go by two brand names one being less money I think and both are made In the USA! And Eureka Is good.
