- Q: Well I have a mono D and it has - - + + on it and I want to to wire my dvc 4ohm sub to 2 ohms but I'm not sure what terminals I hook the speaker wire up to?
- wire okorder /... and than wire it to any of the negatives on the amp its all one channel internally so it really doesn't matter which negative u use. than wire the positive to any positive on the amp.
- Q: I have a water valve that I need to connect but I don't know how to read this diagram. I'm unsure how to connect the wires to the cold and hot valve. I have four wires that need to be connected. A pair of white caps with one blue wire and one orange; and a pair of black caps with one blue wire and one yellow wire. Sorry if this sounds confusing but I have no idea how to explain it well. Thanks!
- Cold Valve one at the lower left of the schematic should have a yellow wire which connects directly to the controller at the P5 .1 terminal. The blue wire will connect with a wire nut to a blue wire which is a common ground for all three valves. Cold valve 2 has an orange wire which connects to the controller at the P5 .4 terminal in the blue wire should connect to the same blue wire but in a different place again with a wire nut. If that isn't clear enough post a picture of the and maybe I can explain it better.
- Q: ok so i have a power acoustik ov2-2200 amp right now and all my wires are working fine with this amp....i am going to buy a lanzar MXA282 which is more wattage (RMS)Do i need to get any new wires to hook this amp up? like the power ground or remote wires? thx... sorry for my ignorance :/
- As long as you are using a good strong gauge wire(4 gauge or lower) then No. That is also assuming your just wanting to swich amps out not add on. Just unhook the old amp and put the new one in it place long as your wires or good to go.
- Q: But I want to switch it and wire the red ceiling wire to the black fan wire and the black ceiling wire to the black/white fan wire so that the particular switches work the way I want them to. Is this ok, to switch them?
- Black wire on the fan is for the fan motor, red wire in the fan is for the light, the white wire is the neutral wire. So if you do want to switch the light off and on you have to tie red wire to the switch and the black wire can be tied to the hot at the ceiling box so you can control the fan with the chain only. If you have one switch leg in your circuit then you cannot do anything but switch them both if you tie them together. I think I am understanding what you are saying here. White Alyse ties to white Black is for the fan motor and the red is for the light. If you have three wires in the switch then you can tie them the same way color to color. Hope this has not confused you You can email me if you need further help
- Q: Im wondering if this 24 awg wire is good for guitar wiring. Doesn't look like something that i usually would see people use when wiring, since there is lots of different wires and colour coding wrapped up inside it.
- Given okorder / I hope this will help with your decision. Good luck!
- Q: A 41.7-kg sign is suspended by two wires, as the drawing shows. Wire 1 makes and angle of 42.2deg with the horizontal and wire 2 makes an angle of 58.8deg. Find the tension in wire 1 and wire 2.
- To solve this, you have to find 2 equations, because there are 2 unknowns. Assume, Tension in wire 1 = T1 Vertical component of T1 = T1 sin42.2 Horizontal component of T1 = T1 cos42.2 Tension in wire 2 = T2 Vertical component of T2 = T2 sin58.8 Horizontal component of T2 = T2 cos58.8 Since the sign board is in equilibrium, the forces must balance each other. Horizontally, the horizontal components of both forces are balancing each other. Therefore, T2 cos58.8 = T1 cos42.2 T2 = (T1 cos42.2) / (cos58.8) -------------------(1) For the vertical components of the wire, both are balancing the weight of the sign. T1 sin42.2 + T2 sin58.8 = (41.7)(9.8) T1 sin42.2 + T2 sin58.8 = 408.66N ----------------(2) Combine (1) into (2), T1 sin42.2 + (T1 cos42.2)(sin58.8) / (cos58.8) = 408.66 T1 ( sin 42.2 + cos 42.2 tan 58.8) = 408.66 T1 = 215.66N Subst T1 = 215.66N into (1), T2 = (T1 cos42.2) / (cos58.8) = 308.4N Hope it is correct ^^
- Q: Theres a Green Illumination wire from the factory setup, where do I connect that wire too on my aftermarket deck? Also theres a White/Blue wire that I dont know where it connects either?
- Metra Wire Harness part number 70-1002 is the wiring harness for your truck.
- Q: Hello everyone! I have what is probably a very simple question.I'm not exactly a radio expert. So my question is this:Is there a difference between copper wire and antenna wire (copper as well)?
- ANTENNA WIRE CONTAINS A FEW STEEL WIRES COMBINE WITH COPPER WIRES THEN TWIST TOGETHER. THAT MAKE THE ANTENNA CABLE IS MUCH STRONGER AS IT IS USED TO BUILD SHORT WAVE T SHAPE ANTENNA THAT REQUIRE A LENGTH OF HUNDRED FEET.
- Q: Is lime wire any good????
- Lime wire's great.
- Q: for a kids robot kitabout a 4 inch black wire--other side is red...the tip broke off--i tried to strip it---but the rest of the wire is copper colored and thinner--the end had a harder silver tipwhat is a wire like this called--would radio shack have it--i can't seem to find it on their website
- It okorder /... What you now have is stranded wire that has been tinned on one end. A tinned wire is one that has been soldered to keep the strands together and make for a stronger connection. If the wire must be flexible then replace with stranded wire. Solid wire will be easier for you to work with but not will not work as well if the wire moves a lot. Additional Yes you could solder the wires if there is enough to hook to. The size wire I think you are talking about can be soldered with about any small soldering iron and resin core solder. You might even slip a piece of heat shrink tubing over the wire before you solder the wire. After making the connection you can slide the heat shrink tubing in place, heat the tube to insulate the connection.
