- Q: anyone know how well the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser vacuum works?
- Is it for upholstery? If so, wet a sponge and wipe the pet hairs from the upholstery, they'll all come off brilliantly. You can even use a diluted nice smelling disinfectant to wet the sponge? This is how we used to remove the pet hairs from out settee.

- Most vacuums have filters. If your filter is dirty, the vacuum's suction power will diminish greatly. The power through the hose has probably decreased as well, but it is not as noticeable because the hose has greater suction than the bottom. Put your hand against the hose and see if it will hold your hand tight against it. If it is very easy to pull you hand away, you have suction issues all around. Look for your filters and clean them.
- Q: Can a canister vacuum cleaner hepa filter be washed?
- They are not supposed to be washable. The ones I have seen have charcoal in them. I suggest buying a new one.
