Q:Im trying to make a wire figure out of floral wire! HOW?!?!?! HELP!: take the wire and make the circle head first. then get the body wire and wrap the end of the to the head. get the right amount of wire for the arms and lay it across the body wire then twist it around the body in the middle a few times. for the legs bend them in the middle and wrap the bottom of the body around the bend.

Q:for christmas im getting my dad an outdoor speaker system buttheunder groung wire costs ALOT so i was wondering if regular speaker wire will work fine if i used it and burried?: Regular speaker wire will work for a short time, but the insulation is not designed to be used underground. It will deteriorate and short out. Your other option is to use conduit, but that will probably be more expensive that the underground wire. Wire for low voltage lights will work, but the gauge is fairly small, so not much power can me pushed through the wire. There is voltage present in speaker lines, about 32-40v

Q:On the wires leading to existing system I can see the main power lead. However all the other wires are different in color leading to existing valves. From the wire bundle two black wires (the only black wires) lead out to nothing and were left with no electrical end caps protecting. Manual says nothing on wiring valves. Any ideas on black wires? Or how can I splice in to existing system wires at valve point having one valve working at a time when system is operating? Am I going to have to get a new controler or run new wires existing controler?: The wire that goes to all the valves is the common. The other color wires go to the other wire on the valves. One colored wire per valve. That is how the valve gets power. It is common to run extra wires when doing a sprinkler system. So the 2 wires that are not being used are there just in case you ever need them. So tie one wire from each valve to the common then the other wire to an unused wire. Just make sure that your timer is capable of handling the extra valves.

Q:I have an immersion heater in my hot water cylinder (UK airing cubbard), but the wiring isn't connected. But, I seem to be missing a small piece or two. The previous lead wire from the timer/switch is stil there and has two wires in it. Q:I've seen people use it as ...umm..energy generating...majiggy.. (but not alot of energy) including a magnet/something about a magnetic field or some sort?and instead of MAGNET WIRES can i use SPEAKER WIRES?(RADIO SHACK): Magnet wire is just solid copper with a layer of varnish for insulation. Speaker wire would work, but you could not wind the wire as tightly due to the thicker insulation. also the wire is very flexible and will not stay in place very well. Also, if the coil gets hot, the insulation on the Speaker wire will start to burn or melt. .

Q:I am replacing an outside floodlight, the cable from the house has 4 wires (black, brown, grey and yellow), but the floodlight has the standard 3 live, neutral and earth fitting. How would I wire the new floodlight.. the wiring for the old floodlight is less than a year old on a house rewire.Thanks!: Four wire power cables used to be used for 2 and 3 phase power. You would normally provide floodlight power with the use of 3 wires. How long is the cable length from house to floodlights? I would look to see what your source wire colors are and try to match those. It used to be in the USA that the red wire was used to carry the 120/240 Volts AC (50 ~ 60~ Herz). The Black wire was considered the return or negative line; and if you have a green wire it is used to put an earth ground on all the shielding, metal jackets, etc.

Q:subs - dvc 4ohm 2 of them 600wattrms on each wiring it to a 1200 watt amp same brand as sub amp is 1 ohm stable to i wire the subs together and then to the amp a 1ohm? that would give each sub 600 watts right?: no wat i would do is wire 1 speaker to 1 port and wire the other speaker to the other pot thats if it is a 2 chanel amp... cause if not u will be pulling to much from 1 side and the speakers wont sound right..... u need to turn down the amp to at first and then bring up the bass gradually to make sure the speakers can handle it..... u also have the choice to bride the amp but thats it the spakers can handle the power... all u have to do is hook up positive then negative to 1 speaker the hook up positive then negative to a diffrent speaker but it has to be from a diff channel...... but if ur going to bridge the speakers then u go positive from 1 port to the negative to the negative of the other port this will give u alot more power to ur speakers.... thats why i recomend u hooking them up regular at first........... u also have to make sure ur gornd is like a foot long or less.... the shorter the ground the more the bass
