- Q: My laptop cable sometimes won't stay in all the time. When it is connected, it has a blue circle around it, but sometimes that blue circle goes off (while it is plugged into the side of laptop) and the tool bar changes from showing a plug to showing a battery. Would there be something wrong with the cable line and it needs to be replaced?
- the power plug is damaged and will have to be replaced the cost about 90 to 125 dollars. look at it and make sure if it is the plug or the socket
- Q: Since desktop UPS is ment more for desktop computers, i need UPS to laptop power conversion cable so i will be able to connect desktop UPS to my laptop.
- The battery included in your laptop will out perform any external UPS. The UPS/computer cable is to signal to the computer that the UPS is active so the computer should shut down all active files and applications and wait for the power to crash in a minute or two. The battery in the laptop automatically engages if the power from the AC converter stops. Your computer has several hours to function normally not the minute or two you would get from the UPS.
- Q: I wanted to buy this card: What power cables will it need? Thanks in advance
- You don't need any power cables. The board gets power from the mother board. You need a PCI-Express slot on your mother board. If you're asking about video cables to the monitor, it says in the listing... Interfaces 2 x DVI-I - 29 pin combined DVI , 1 x HDMI - 19 pin HDMI Type A , 2 x DisplayPort - Apple mini-DisplayPort You only need one of these unless you are running more than 1 monitor. I would look on your monitor and see what connections you have. (2) DVI-1 is common is older stuff, (1) HDMI is the newest technology and common for HDTV, (2) Apple ports for Apple enabled monitors.
- Q: Wire and cable manufacturing process (to be detailed)?
- Tell you an electrician commonly used "empirical formula": as long as the copper wire, cross-sectional area per square millimeter can be safely through the 4 - 5A rated current; in 220V single-phase circuit, the power per 1KW, the current For the 4.5A or so, in the 380V three-phase balanced circuit, the power per 1KW, the current is about 2A, the above values can be calculated using the physical formula is very close to the results, so the electrician at work, in order to Do not remember those "cumbersome" formula, remember that these can. Then according to this algorithm to know: every 1 mm square cross-sectional area of the copper wire, if used in 220V single-phase circuit, you can safely carry 1KW load through the current, if used in three-phase balanced load (such as motor) Circuit, you can safely carry 2.5KW load through the current
- Q: Just wondering if the eVGA GT 440 graphics/video card needs a power cable connect from the psu to it.I bought a PC pre-made from JB HI-FI and going to upgrade my graphics card. The one I have currently is the Radeon HD 4650 and it appears to have no cable connecting to it. There are however, some cables connecting to the motherboard near it.
- No, it doesn't need one, but it's also a crappy purchase. The Radeon 6670 costs about the same, doesn't require external power, and slaps the GT 440 silly.
- Q: i need a power cable for a viewsonis VE170mb monitor
- Monitor power cables are pretty universal, and are typically the same as the PC power cable, many printer power cables, and the like.
- Q: Forced shut down pc now it has no power just a buzzing sound when the power cable is plugged in
- Unplug the computer. Buy an air cleaner to blow out the dust around the fan in the computer and the buzzing noise will stop.
- Q: Whenever I unplug the power cable, the laptop starts to lag, bad, and yes I do have a fully charged battery. This has been happening ever since I got the thing, and no it has nothing to do with the battery, and no matter how many times I re-plug the cable and take it out again, or just leave it in, it continues to lag. The only time it stops is when I reboot, at least until I unplug it again. Also, it has nothing to do with the performance battery plan. Any ideas? This is really annoying.
- Do you mean lag as in a slow OS. Well- Where is your SPEEDSTEP set at in your BIOS? You may have 3 or 2 settings which ARE affected when your Cable Power is removed it will go to a Bit Slower Processor Speed to prolong the battery. If after you change the settings in BIOS and it does this again, its likely need to be sent back for repair under Warranty as this is NOT Normal...
- Q: 3 * 185 + 1 * 95 What is the price of copper cable? Thank you friends help
- That is the two 10KV line is not specifically for you, and perhaps for others.
- Q: So I use my laptop with power and only put in the battery when I take it around. So I sat my computer down and it abruptly just shut down. I powered it on and I set it down again and the same thing happened. The third time it went all the way to the desk top. I touched and moved around the power cable connected to it shut down. WTF
