Q: whats the best floor shine you can use on tiles
it really depends on what your after, you can go for a normal floor ploish, or wax. you can even use a good laquer, i use duranis 648 floor polish but that can be a bit over kill, more info is needed eg. what you want as a finish like wet finish, matt, etc.
Q: My little dog has some leg problems. His back legs are a little numb so he slips around on the tile we have. We are moving to a new home and are looking to put some flooring in. We would like to put anything but carpet. Would you reccomend wood or bamboo flooring? Are either of these better when it comes to slipping and sliding around? Thanks!
i think carpet
Q: I am considering buying a home Illinois. Unfortunately my price range is small; however there is a home my girlfriend and I love. The floors are slanted because the foundation has sunk because it’s a 100 or more year old home. Is there a way to fix the floors by adding more plywood or something to the lower part of the floor?
Just from the experience of selling a rental property with settling, or slanted floors, I was told the man was going to brace the existing floor and then go over the area with an entirely new floor. He said trying to move the floor upward could cause problems with the existing walls. I would talk to one or more contractor to get an idea of what your individual situation might be. If it is normal settling, it's one thing, but I knew somone that bought a house that had been on a really old area of land fill, which should have been settled long before, and they ended up with slanted floors. They sold the house because that was a real mess.
Q: I'm planning to set up a wireless network here in our house for sharing of internet connection, and I'm thinking of buying a linksys wireless G router for it. The problem is I'm not sure if it can be used for multiple floors (our house has two floors). I've been told to use wireless N routers but those things cost triple
I suggest you go get an N router for better surfing.
Q: We are putting in a brand new kitchen and are on a tight budget so plan to use a laminate floating floor. My question is should we put it down before we install cabinets and appliances, or install those first and then put the flooring around them? My husband wants to floor around them to save money, but I think it would look nicer to have the whole floor covered and then put everything on top. What do you think?
It's better if it goes under both though it can go around cabinets if necessary. Appliances, it should definitelygo underneath. However, are you sure you want to do this at all? Laminate can be competely ruined by exposure to water for any length of time, even splashes from the kitchen sink if you don't wipe them up. The cheaper the laminate the more likely it will happen, and it's very hard to fix. I'd use the vinyl planks which they have at Home Depot. Looks as good as laminate and much more practical in a kitchen.
Q: im trying to solve 16=floor((100*floor(.15*X))/86), but i dont exactly know how
The floor function maps a range of numbers into a single function. So there are infinitely many solutions. You could solve it as an inequality. 16=floor((100*floor(.15*X))/86) means 16 <= 100*floor(.15*X))/86 < 17 Rearrange those inequalities to isolate floor(.15*X). Then on each side you'll once again have a range of values for .15*X. Edit: 16*0.86 <= floor(.15*X) < 17*0.86 13.76 <= floor(.15*X) < 14.62 But because floor is an integer, that means that floor(15*X) has to be 14. It's possible I might have gotten a range of integers at this point. floor(.15*X) = 14 14 <= .15*X < 15
Q: Hello, I had a new home built about a year ago. The framer let the floor boards get rained on before the roof was installed. The floors were sanded then a hardwood floor was installed on top. When I walk on the floors they make cracking and squeaky sounds plus they feel squishy. I know the hardwood floor will have to be removed but what are my options for correcting the subfloor besides tearing it out? I have seen liquid floor leveler but I have almost 1800 sq feet to cover. Can another layer of subfloor be laid on top of the first level? What is the easiest most affordable option for correcting my floor?
Isn't there the equivalent of the uk's House Builders Registration Council in the states.. Here in a new build there must be a 10 year guarantee against faulty materials or workmanship. Your builder was clearly at fault and guessing what it is going to cost to rectify I would consult a lawyer for possible action against the builder. He is prbaby covered by insurance anyway.
Q: Heyyy! I need help, I have been looking for cheap boards to build a deck and outside shed. Then I would need to find cheap place to buy a hardwood flooring or something similar, do ya know any web pages that deliver or any places around Memphis-Batesville- area??Thanks:)
as for boards to build a deck, Lowe's or home depot or if there is a local lumber yard they might work. as for hardwood flooring lumber liquidators has some great prices a lot better than Lowe's or home depot and they sell the ones like bellawood and the others that have long warranties. you can find them online to see if they have a store near you, or you can order directly from them.
Q: Dnf nothing in the environment how to run the floor -_- || own attack helpless can not remember the floor order, each time have to pay b -_- ||
Very simple, now pao'ge'zi only three graphs, you can watch the picture run. Remember the first three on it!
Q: Ordinary tiles can withstand 120 degrees Celsius sustained high temperature it
Each piece of tiles are thousands of degrees through the kiln firing furnace, how can we fear the temperature of one or two of the google it
