Slip resistance:
Boards of Techwoodn according to ASTM D2394-05. This is the best ranking for bare-foot slip resistance.
Weathering resistance:
Boards of Techwoodn have very low moisture uptake.This is key for mold and mildew resistance.
UV resistance:
4000 hours accelerated Xenon-arc Exposure,the Boards turned slightly more clear and colored.
Abrasion resistance:
The resistance to abrasion is similar to oak.
Fungus resistance:
Whatever fungus the wood composite is exposed to,it is extremely durable.
Moreover,aging test does not affect this durability.

- I would recommend filling the hole with sand, making sure you have it under the pipe (you did use PVC this time right?) and tamped somewhat, up to about four inches under the top of the rest of the floor. You can use a two by four to level the new concrete with the existing floor. Mix up some sakrete or concrete mix and put this on top of the sand to level with the existing floor and finish it to match. Stay off of it for a few days to let it cure. If the old floor had wire mesh in it, you may want to put some in the new floor concrete.

- The flooring you have explained sounds like laminate flooring that looks like real wood. If you were to lay it over carpet it would come apart unless it was a burber or very flat carpet. The compression capabilities of most carpets would allow the laminate to come apart. If it was a low pile burber it might work because lamintae flooring is a floating floor. It just depends on how much the carpet will move up and down letting the laminate floor become loose were it clicks together and disconnect.

Lay a 6ft. or longer level across the floor in sections, you must then discover if the floor is accessible from below. if it is re support the floor joists and while you are there apply project liquid nails to any gaps in flooring and joists. - Q: I installed a floating floor and it seems that water can penetrate between the seems. how could I seal these?
- As to a Pergo or any type of laminate or floating floor the installation is the key. All floors have some kind of locking system which should deter most of the water from seeping through, they all have some type of repellent finish. If installed correctly the amount of water would be minimal. But, as with all laminate and floating floors water spills should be wiped immediately as replacing a single piece is virtually impossible w/o taking the whole floor up,

- The floor has a tough plastic coating that will not hold dirt and gives good traction so nobody slips and falls. It actually has little teeth that grip the soles of shoes. You are seeing reflections off those teeth.
- Q: ok i have a cement floor in my room cuz im in the basement. i really dont want it so what can i put there? i was thinking carpet but it sounds way to hard to put carpet on cement. in my top floor theres this stuff my ma put where it looks like hardwood but it is plastic and its just like double sided tape on it. should i do this?
- it's really not hard to put carpet onto cement, most council houses have cement bottom floors.
