- Q: I have a full time job, and as many people out there, I am struggling to make ends meetWhat are some things I could do to earn some extra cash?
- The supreme court is only allowed to rule on Constitutional issuesEverything else is left up to the states - ergo the votersIf it has no direct Constitutional bearing that is the way that it is supposed to beThe Constitution protects against taking life, liberty, or property w/out due processBecause there is no mention of homosexuality in the Constitution, it is a states rights issueMarriage is constitutionally listed as a states rights issueGay marriage must therefore be left up to the statesThat's where it gets trickyThe Constitution says that a marriage in one state is valid in anotherSo, if Mass allows gay marriage and KS doesn't-KS would have to honor a gay marriage if the couple moved from Mass to KS.
- Q: can i take cover and a blanket camping im sleeping in a tent?
- Just buy the great value brand lasagna from walmart, and just add more cheese, it's cheaper and mmmm.good!!!!
- Q: A couple of questions:1Why use a higher or lower gauge speaker wire? What does it do for me?2What does better insulation do for a speaker wire?Basically, I'm wondering why I should buy more expensive speaker wire (like Monster cable) instead of the cheap stuff (like at WalMart) for my stereo system.
- NO wire size depends on the amount of power that will travel through itand insulation merely seperates the wire from everything else, preventing shortsStock harnesses typically use 18-16 guage wire, which is never enough for a aftermarket systemthe first to replace should be the constant 12v( usually yellow), I replace it with an 8 guage wire directly from the battery, and always have a fuse within the first 12 from the battery, then the same size for a ground, never longer than 18This prevents dimming of the headunit lights, which is basically when the unit is starved for powerIf using the speaker outputs from the headunit, speaker wires can be changed to a 12 or 14 guage wire if you wish, but stock size will workFor amp power, I never use anything smaller than 4 guage.( usually when you see someones headlights dim while bumping is due to improper wire size, i.etoo small) Even on low power setups, like under 200 watts, i use 4 guageIf you plan on having some rediculously large amp that puts out over a 1000 watts, go with 0 guageGround wire always needs to be the same size or larger and never longer than 18And i always use 8 guage wire for my sub speaker wire, from amp to box and inside the box as wellI also use 12 guage for my front/rear speakers Wire size does differ by brandYou can go buy Monster cable and get a true size, or go get a cheap brand, get charged the same price but actually get a smaller guagethe outside dimension is the same but the cheaper wire has a thicker insulation and less core!
- Q: This question was raised by MIKU HAUONE I felt the answer by LJC was the best answerIn my situation I have discovered there is no insulation in the wall, just around the heat registers and in the atticThe house was built in the 1950s, we thought it was insulatedI don’t think this happened last winterTwo things different, a humidifier that works (mounted on the furnace), we painted the exteriorI don’t believe there is a vapor barrier etherThe roof was new 3 years ago and no signs of a leak, vented at the eves, ridge and has three roof ventsIn the basement all the wall stud spaces have insulation stuffed up into them resting on the sillThe one wall I washed with soap and water, removing the mold and drying itIt has remained dryAnother factor is, we live in southwest MI and we’ve had a bad rain storm and several bad snow stormsThe house is 35’ long and 24’ wide the long side faces north on the front and south on the backSo, any other ideas?
- You say that there is no insulation in that wallFeel itIt is probably really coldThis is where the warm moist air on the inside of the house will condenseIt is amazing how much water can come out of a persons breathI noticed the same thing in my bedroom closetIt got worse when I switched away from incandescent bulbsYou might want to get a closet dehumidifierI like the convenience of theseThe one that comes with a hanger is great for the spot on the rack right next to the wall that seems to get dampSmall investment for saving a ruined jacket.
- Q: HELP !
- i have thick wavy hair too, and what works best for my hair is the chi straighteneryou can probably order one through your hairdresser, or order one online.
- Q: I have blown in insulation in my Attic and a new roof with a ridge ventThe roofers said to make sure the eaves are not blockedWhen I go up into the attic and dig out insulation from the eaves it never endsI can put my whole arm up to my shoulder in that quot;areaquot; I do not see daylight, like everyone tells meFrom the outside of my house it looks like the eaves go down below the attic areaLike the eave would be in the bedrooms belowHow do I access my eaves to clean them out? From the soffit outside?
- NoThe only way to block calories is to not put it in your mouthOr to not digest it.
- Q: First off I would like to thank you for whoever will answere my question with great detailI jsut bought my first house with my wife and I have a BIG atticI have done my research on the internet but I cant find anything on quot; How Toquot; My ceiling is at least 7 feet high and at one end of the attic their is a ladder going up to a quot;loftquot; wich also you can stand up in and have the attic ceiling at least 7 foot high but it is higher than the other part of the atticIt looks like a regualr attic with cheap insulation (the torn apart kind) some bbeams and wires to fans and lightsEverything up their is mostly professionaly done ( a builder previously owned it) and also I looked at it and it looked like their use to be a cut out for a big windowWhat do I need to consider in this possible transformation and wha aerr the steps in doing this? If you want to answere this Question by using another website (copy and paste) thats would be coolId like it cheaply done but not a hazordThank you
- Well some things to consider would be the age of the house and were you are located, many building codes will want you to bring the whole house up to the current code if you do additions or extensive remodelsDoes the house have smoke detectors? That window may have been a gable openingDo you have a set of the original house plans that you can take to the city and ask about what you plan to do? If the space is structurally sound enough to build out it may not be an issue, For some reason whenever anyone ask about construction they want cheap, that is not a good mixWhen I hear the word cheap it makes me think of unsafe or substandardGood Luck
