Q: I'm only 18 and started working out a year ago.. I'm 135 pounds and 5'7 and can leg press 170, 205 on hip abductors, but only can do 60 pounds on arm press. I know women are stronger in their legs but is 170 pounds impressive or should I increase my weight more?
yes , if it is possible you can
Q: I have always used pressed powder for my makeup, but I was wondering what the big difference between pressed and loose powder is? Does one look or feel better over the other? Or does it last longer? Should I try loose powder? What do you think?
I use loose powder. I don't think there would be much a difference of the way it looks on its just with loose you have more control of Howe much goes on. You should try a loose powder and just see which you like better.
Q: I'm talking calf pressing with a leg press machine. I'm a 19 year old female athlete and each time I go to the gym I add more and more weight on and can still do it relatively easily. Right now I'm at around 650 lbs. I do around a 100 reps of it before my feet cramp and I stop. The only thing that is getting more difficult is lifting it off the safety catch. The actual calf pressing is easy. I just want to know if I will eventually be able to max out, or if I will even be able to try before my quads are just not able to lift the weight up.
If you want to work your calves to failure, it's not hard to do. Use a calf machine. As for the leg press, there's no way we can know because we don't know how strong your legs are. However, you can always work to failure simply because there is always an upper limit to how many calf presses you can do. Try doing 1000 and if that's not enough do 10,000 reps...etc. So the rather obvious answer to your question is yes. Good luck and good health!! ?
Q: I am having a consultation with one on Saturday?I don't know much about small literary presses? Can they sell on books on a national level? Can they do everything that a large literary press can do?What else do I need to know about a small literary press?
I am assuming you are having a consultation with them because they might be publishing a book of yours. Overall, small presses can do really great things. Some *can* and *do* sell books on a national level, but this has to more to do with their distributor than anything else. You should definately ask them if they distribute to the large book chains like Barnes Noble, Borders, etc. They can do most things that large presses can do, as long as it doesn't involve a lot of money. Often writers get more personal attention from small presses in terms of public relations, whereas a large publisher like Random House tends to leave new, small novels to fend for themselves. I can't really tell you any more about what you need to know, because I'm not sure what you need it *for*. Good luck with your meeting.
Q: I am 16 and a half, Junior, and im wondering how much i should be able to max bench press? I weight 143 lbs and 5'11 with a 72in wingspan. Currently my max bench press is 190 lbs.
i'm 15, 140lbs 5 foot 9 and i bench 240
Q: I would like to paint pressed wood on a desk and need some advice on the best way to do it? Any ideas would be great!!!
Seal the pressed wood first. use a good quality oil based primer. make sure you read the label for how long to let the primer cure. Then use a good quality top coat. glossy is the hardest finish, then seni-gloss and down the line. Do not use flat or eggshell. There is not enough enamel in them to handle a good cleaning without the paint wearing off
Q: iam looking for a calculation or the difference between doing a bench press on a leverage bench vs a regular bench , for example i have a powertech leverage bench , if i have 300 lbs on it including the 30 lb U shaped bar that holds the wieght, and i lift it, whats the difference in actual wieght lifted compared to doing it on a regular flat bench, calculating the fact that you start at the bottom position on a leverage bench and there is no need for balancing the wieght like on a regular bench, and the difference in the angle in which you push up the wieght on a leverage bench, i know 300lbs on a leverage bench is not the same as doing 300lbs on a reular bench, does anyone know any websites or know themselves the ratio's or the difference in each is....like if you can do 300lbs on a leverage bench does that mean you can really only bench 230 on a regular bench..etc etc

Q: Saw it on twitter friend said Saw Hannah at Panera # pressed
The # symbol is called a hashtag, it relates to whatever the person is doing or talking about. Panera Bread makes delicious panini sandwiches, which are pressed sandwiches. So if you saw someone at Panera Bread you would probably be talking about their pressed panini sandwiches, so #pressed Don't think too hard about hashtags.
Q: Ok I will be 16 in March here(today is 2/16/09), I'm 5'11-6'0(somewhere between there) and weigh 161 ilbs and I can bench press 185 ilbs.
There is really no good bench press and bad bench press. Everyone is different and can lift different amounts. If that is your heaviest you can lift, I think that is pretty good for you, but someone the same size and weight might lift 100lbs and that could be good for them.
Q: I am doing an avocado oil extraction research to compare the recovery rate of cold-pressed and hot-pressed extraction, and I would like to have more information about the two :)
chilly pressed = greater virgin the olives are seeded/pitted, then pressed w/o any warmth. that's chilly pressed ror EV. as quickly as that around has been executed, they collect up the squished olives, upload warmth, and press returned. greater oil is released using warmth and better rigidity. that's in basic terms olive oil.
