Q: I have a 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme and I think I have the case of the blow-by. The engine had high mileage, but was rebuilt b/c it stalled while driving. 3.1L V6 gasoline engine. The fuel filter and the fuel pump are brand new. Now we have the same problem a few months later. It stalls while driving. Its been sitting a while and won't start by itself, so I pulled off the air intake hose off of the air filter to spray starting fluid into it. I noticed oil puddled in the air intake hose, so I looked for the PCV valve on the rocker cover. There is a tube going from the air-intake hose to the rocker cover. I popped out the tube from the rocker cover and there is no PCV valve. Just tube. Is that where the PCV valve is supposed to go? If not, where can I find it on the engine? And could that possibly fix the blow-by and the stalling engine? I'd appreciate any help. Thanks in advance.

Q: What are the classification criteria for pneumatic butterfly valves?
The channel of the valve body inner surface smooth, fluid resistance, high CV value, strong circulation, moderate torque, the use of four seal structure and elastic rubber gasket seat with SI in high temperature aging on the outside sealing surface, zero leakage medium.Pneumatic butterfly, characteristics, there is a slit leaving the valve seat, the product is suitable for use in poor air circulation environment. The pneumatic telescopic butterfly valve is characterized in that the novel and reasonable design, unique structure, light weight, convenient operation, open and close rapidly; in addition to the telescopic valve for regulating and throttling effect, compensation pipeline temperature generated by thermal expansion and contraction function, but also for the installation of valve replacement and maintenance convenience. The sealing parts can be adjusted, replaced, sealed, reliable and so on.
Q: What's the difference between butterfly valves and check valves?
Butterfly valve is manual, only switch function. The check valve is an automatic valve, which prevents backflow of the pipe medium.
Q: What is the meaning of American Standard butterfly valve B series
American Standard flange connection is divided into A, B series. A series for normal flanges, B series for compact flanges. 24 "to no AB series, flange standards for B16.5, 24" above B16.47.
Q: How can the flange butterfly valve be installed on the pipe?
Outlet pipe configuration. If in the pipeline, the valve in order to do not bear the direction of the force and bending moment, it is best to set the valve at the exit side of the expansion joint. Valve opening and closing valve water pressure should not be borne by the foot, but through the valve flange, by the pipeline to bear as well.Butterfly valve structure is generally shorter length, and its butterfly plate will be extended to adjacent pipes or other parts, so be careful not to collide with other parts and interference. And to prevent the error matching pipe diameter greater than C and collide with the butterfly plate.Butterfly valve as a regulator, just adjust the flow and pressure. The valve is regulated by loss of pressure.
Q: Butterfly valve D71X-1.6C, DN50, there is no difference between C and no C? What do you mean by "concrete"?
Front is the same, there is C refers to the body of the material is carbon steel, without C, usually refers to gray iron (cast iron is more common, so are generally omitted)
Q: How to connect the signal butterfly valve?
Signal butterfly valve is divided into two, 1) single signal, that is, signal instructions open or shut in place, only reflects a state, 2) double signal instructions, that is able to reflect in place or in place.
Q: can't locate freon intake valve for 03 jaguar an was wondering were it is located at
There is no Freon intake valve for an 03 Jaguar. Freon is R12 refrigerant and the vehicle uses an R134a refrigerant system. There is also no such thing as an intake valve on any vehicle refrigerant system. There is a high pressure port and a low pressure port. To answer your question: under the hood. Any other information would likely endanger your life, since this is obviously a DIY question and you lack the knowledge to safely recharge your vehicle's refrigerant system. R134a refrigerant, if inhaled, can kill you. Do not turn a DIY project into a DIE project. Leave the complicated stuff to the professionals.
Q: I need a valve cover gasket replacement because mine is leaking a tremendous amount of oil. The mechanic says it will cost about $269.00 plus tax. I wanted to make sure this figure was the average since I do not know a lot about cars. My car is a Mitsubishi Diamante 2001.
The gasket set is probably $ 20, so double that to $ 40..... 270 - 40 is 230, divided by 2 man-hours, which is the usually dealership minimum, gives $ 115 an hour. I DON'T THINK SO !!!! Unless you live in Hawaii where everything is expensive, that sounds steep.... real steep. Dealers around here get like $ 85 an hour, so two hours is 170, plus 40 is 210 bucks; Still killer money for the dealer..... I'd question that estimate ask if there is some extraordinary challenge to working on your car. It is possible there are accessories mounted over the valve cover that will have to be moved, or that's it's a canted V-6 with one valve cover tucked up against the fire wall. Be nice, smile, ask questions.... Maybe even have someone show you what has to be moved on your engine to get at the valve cover(s). If you're going to pay that much $$$, you should learn something, also.
Q: What's the difference between electric butterfly valve and electric two way valve?
Below we will be specific to understand the electric two way valve and electric butterfly valve of the difference between.Distinguish one: product performance is different, the electric two way valve is for the central air-conditioning fan coil supporting products; and electric butterfly valve and electric control valve is the same species;Difference two: the product function is different, the electric two way valve is automatic adjustment; and the electric butterfly valve is a variety of adjustment methods.Difference three: product classification is different, the electric two way valve body activities are more piston style structure; and butterfly valve structure is diversified, such as sealed form can be divided into soft sealing and hard sealing type of two.
