- They are mostly the same. On the bench press you also need them little balancing muscles to maintain control of the weight, you know what I'm saying? The major muscle groups are the same though. Usually push ups are more of a endurance workout, and bench press is a strength workout. Usually. If your'e in good shape you should be able to bench about your body weight at least once. But, there is nothing wrong with shooting for more. And what does being white have to do with it?! haahah

I was reading online and everywhere I looked everyone is putting the flat bench press down. They say to do a workout of incline and decline and that the flat is bad. - Flat bench is fine. Look up so you think you can bench on youtube. That series of videos will teach you how to bench press in a way that protects your shoulders. You also need to balance your pressing movements with pulling movements to keep your shoulder balanced and healthy. So you should row as much and as heavy as you bench press. If you do those two things you will never have shoulder issues from pressing. Also, decline is stupid. Incline is cool, it targets the upper chest (pec minor) a little more, which most guys lack. You should also overhead press, not just bench press. But yes, the flat bench is a fine exercise.

- Hey, I guess it due to heavy weight or when you were exercising you didn't warm up at the beginning. This pain might be due to a sprain in your thigh muscles because originally a leg press exercise focuses and puts most of the weight pressure on your thigh muscles. I advise you to skip using it for a day and make sure you run on a treadmill min. 5 minutes before starting other exercises. (And If you wanna do the leg press, just decrease the weight and exercise slowly, don't go to fast.)

- leg press can be too easy with the 45 degree thing, much better progress and larger muscles can come doing squats and its better for flexibility as well yes bad circulation will exhaust your muscles and the bigger the muscles the bigger the effect. maybe you need some hypoxic training?
