- it can add more power.but mostly it just adds noise really depends on what vehicle and what other upgrades u have done or are planning to do .90% of the time it is a waste of money and time
- Q:where would you lift the car up on any lift especialy those V shaped lifts that are hydraulic?
- I would put a floor jack under the lower control arm of the front suspension,then place a jack stand under the frame at the manufacturer's recommended lift point. If using the supplied screw jack,I would lift at the lift point and place the jack stand under the suspension. If available the easiest way is to use ramps.

- Q:I have a body kit on my car that gets in the way for a traditional car lift. I took it to two merchants shops, one lift cracked the kit and the other shop said we can't do it.Unfortunately I don't blame them too much since I chose a car with a kit, and please hold your opinions on body kits. I'm looking for a shop in my area that may have a lift suited to my car that won't interfere with my side skirts, or a specific name of a lift.unless all car lifts are pretty much the same?thanks in advance
- Yep them 4 arm lifts will do up a side kit real quick. You need someone with a drive on rack. Like good alignment shops/frame shops use. Instead of arms, you drive up on two tracks. Lift's the whole car on the tires. Jacks built into the lift can then access the suspension from the bottom and inside the body kit to lift it if need be. Use for alignments, exhaust work, oil changes, and all kinds of stuff at our shop. Mostly cause the techs are too dang lazy to use the 4 arm racks. Too easy to just drive up on the lift and hit a switch and up it goes.
