Q:I'm only asking this on here out of interest, this is not homework. I want to know how to calculate exact distances between to poles connected at the top by a cable. The length or height of the objects are not important to me, but if you must use an example please do so. So I want to know what formulas to use, what variables in those formulas mean, and how the slope of the cable will affect the distance. For example, if two poles have a distance between them of 0, and the cable extends 100, it would not mean that the drop of the cable (called a catenary?) would be 50, (it's misleading because you would think that since the distance between the two poles is 0, the cable would drop 50 and rise 50. But this is not taking into account the slope it has to take at the bottom of the catenary. It must lose some drop (perhaps to 48 or 49) in order to bend and rise back up...I want this out of my head, it's bugging me that I can't figure it out.
No sign can commute faster than the fee of sunshine (neglecting tachyons, that have in no way been pronounced interior the genuine international, yet in concept can in no way slow all the way down to or commute under the fee of sunshine). The ropes and poles could flex because of the fact the sign traveled alongside them. because of the fact that they'd not flow right this moment, the sign could commute at a speed nicely under c. right that's a version on the pole concept. think you have 2 very long poles crossed at an attitude. The poles are rotating from their crossed orientation to alter into extra parallel. the factor P the place the poles bypass will commute down the poles as they attitude parallel, shifting faster and faster. Can the action of P exceed the fee of sunshine? particular it could! P would not have any actual manifestation and for this reason no mass; for this reason its action isn't constrained with the aid of relativity. in spite of the undeniable fact that, if P did have mass -- as an occasion, if there became a hoop around the crossing factor -- then the poles could be compelled to flex because of the fact the relativistically increasing mass drew further and further ability from them. * To Michael under: Einstein's particular concept of Relativity states that it could consume an limitless quantity of ability to strengthen up any particle with mass to the fee of sunshine. So that is impossible to strengthen up even an electron to the fee of sunshine, regardless of the certainty that scientists can get very very close now. Photons have not have been given any mass so as that they commute on the fee of sunshine and easily on the fee of sunshine (and is the reason why every person measures an identical fee for c). Tachyons have an 'imaginary' mass (a dissimilar of the sq. root of -a million) and so as that they can't commute as slow or slower than mild... merely faster!
Q:i just got a new motherboard but after reading throuhg the manual i coudnt get any instructions on which cable goes which way. pls i need some one to help me. all other connections are okay i suppose but afraid to just connect the power, and the reset button cable any how.
Are okorder ... If so, look on the motherboard, it should be written near the jumpers where the cables connect. They look like little pins sticking up out of the motherboard, all in a group. Just play with it until it works, but DON'T unplug anything while the computer is powered on and running. If it doesnt work, shut it down completely before switching any of the cables.
Q:I ordered this recently only to find that it was just the HDD, no cords whatsoever. I've never had to buy cables for an HDD before, and I'm especially not used to SATA (I didn't make the jump from IDE to SATA until this year.)
it is a sata and takes the Standard power connector on the back like the regular drive and the the rest the other guy covered you can tell the difference it's not a ribbon cable looks like romex almost and the ends are polarized one end looks like this L____ and this end is reversed the cable can't be plugged in wrong just like IDE hard drives.
Q:What is the difference between a photovoltaic cable and an ordinary cable? What is the structure of a photovoltaic cable?
. soil buried pipe, including weak and fire, should be thick-walled galvanized steel pipe, that is, SC series of steel pipe, the best size is not less than SC. weak professional, decorative professional now basically use thin-walled galvanized steel pipe, that is JDG series steel pipe
Q:I have an old scanner, HP Scanjet 3400C, but I have lost the power supply cable. The power socket the cable fits into looks like a small single hole with a little pin in the middle. Can I replace it and what is it called?Thank you very much.
The power cable and adapter will probably be unique to the scanner. You'll have to order the right one from HP, or through a computer store. The USB cable should be standard. Most printers and scanners use a USB cable with a Type A connector (flat) on one end, and a Type B connector (squared-off) on the other end. They're easy to find at Staples, as well as at computer stores.
Q:I am constantly just throwing all of our cables into grocery bags or backpacks and nothing ever seems to work well when it comes to setting up for a show. Are there special cases/bags that would work best for transporting XLR, 1/4quot;, and power cables?
you can get little velcro ties for like $3 for 50. learn how to coil cables correctly (most pros use under/over) and then secure them with the velcro strip (I like to keep the velcro at the male end of the XLR cables so it's not danglight around on the mike end) and then they should be kept pretty well organized even if you just throw them in a backpack or something
Q:Two weeks ago, my 1 yr 19 lcd monitor began to flicker? Why? The power cord and usb cable are secure?
I've had a similar thing happen with my 17 GEM monitor. Eventually, I relocated the monitor and redid all the wiring and the flickering ultimately stopped. I'd wager it's a wire issue.
Q:(for example : 1sqmm, 4sqmm, 35 sqmm) i need a formula to calculate current by knowing the area of the cable?
This is not a simple answer. The amount of current that a cable can carry depends on the amount of voltage drop that you can tolerate (mostly an issue in long cables) and the temperature rating of the insulation used on the cable ( the higher the temperature rating, the higher the current that you can run in the cable) and the ability of the cable to loose the heat that is generated from the I^2R drop in the cable. For example, if a cable is in open air with no other heat sources near it, it can accomodate more current before compromising the insulation. If a cable is in a conduit with other cables that are generating heat, then the conductor needs to be increased in size to decrease the heat. The ampacity of the cable is also affected by the duty cycle of the current that the wire is carrying. If the duty cycle of the current is 10% then the wire can carry much more current compared to a current of 100% or continuous. Having said all this, there are tables of ampacities for various sized wires.
Q:I never expected this problem, but I have an HP with a liteon power supply. The thing has these weird clips on the power cables that go into the hard drive. How do I free the hard drive power cables? I have to put in a new power supply for my video card.
SATA just pulls out.. actually so does molex connectors (for IDE drives).. just very tough sometimes to get them out. If its black and kinda thin, then its probably SATA and they should just pull straight out.
Q:Does anyone know if there are adapters to convert an extra PCI Express power cable to a 4-pin molex power cable? My Power supply has 3 PCI Express power cables and I only need to use one of them, but I could use the extra power cables.
Sorry, there are no such adaptors to convert a PCI-E cable to a molex.
