- Q:Hello, I am looking to purchase a single power connector for 5 hard drives. I have a modular 1200W power supply, and all i can find on website is these single power connecters that do not even look like they will connect to my power supply. My computer came with power connectors for 4 hard drives in single cables. I do not want to waste another Power supply slot for just 1 more hard drive. Can anybody tell me how to search for this? - Q:NE1 have a surge protector and power filter for there home theatre stuff? If so what is the model and did it make a difference? I have RF grounding problem through my cable and was wondering if the moster cable boxes would help clean up the signal. I have to wrap a wire around the coax cable and ground it to something to make SOME not all of the noise dissappear. (lines rising from bottom to top of picture) Obviously I want a more definate and permant solution. Thanks.
- A power conditioner should be a part of any home theater products you want to keep. Monster makes a fine product and backs it up with a connected equipment warranty. But your issue is not power line noise it is a ground problem, get the cable fixed with the appropriate ground clamps,etc.. If you don't have a monster or one that is equivalent you need to get one. I had a lightning strike, not a near strike but a direct one. Took out everything that wasn't hooked up to a monster power center. A few of those fried but monster replaced them, they did exactly what they were designed to do not pass on a surge or die to prevent it. Calling monster was not a problem, and my replacement centers were there within a few days.
- Q:i replaced my ps2 power ribbon cable with a slightly diffrent ribbon cable but it had all the connections just like the original one. i plugged in my ps and i heard that slight clicking sound of the electricity entering the ps2's cuircut such as it always has when it was working fine. but when i plug the ps2 in the lights on the power buttons wont come on and they havent come on no matter whitch way i turn the cable. i would really like to get back to KH2 bugt this is getting annoying. what is up with my ps2 that even though everything is connected i cant seem to get the power lights to come on. help!
