- There are no commercial cover made for reclining sofas. You need to either have them completely re-upholstered, or have custom slip covers made. Both will be more expensive than new.

- the SOFA stamp is only for residency. if you are just going to visit, you don't need one, but you do need the Visa requirement that Germany has for PI citizens. If you are trying to get SOFA sponsorship to live over there, I doubt that it will be easy, as you have to be a legal resident of the US first before you can get it. and No Name.. while I agree, in theory, this woman is nowhere NEAR a US Military installation, as we no longer have any permanent bases in the Phillipine Islands. She cannot do what you are advocating.

- Step 1. Cook two eggs over meduim heat. Salt and pepper to taste. Step 2. Drive to Goodwill. Purchase sagging sofa. Remove cushions. Step 3. Place cushionless sofa in donation lot. Return home with new cushions. Step 4. Add new cushions to existing sagging sofa. Call in sick.

- Rats can definitely chew on your leather sofa, live in your leather sofa, etc. But to keep them from doing that, -try to give them something else to chew on away from your new sofa, like a bowl of peanuts in your kitchen. -Do something to keep them from getting inside of your house. - Are the walls staying pink? Is that the color for a bedroom and a living room? ...if you absolutely have to work with that color...why not do white curtains with a black border stripe. For the sofa...how about a contemporary gray color. Bring out pops of color with a throw and toss pillows...and you don't have to stay with all pink theme either. If you want, you can do a light cream color sofa....add pops of greens mixed with tropical hues of pinks and creams for pillows. (That's what I would pick). You can always switch out to browns/pinks for autumnal look when seasons change.

- It came with the legs off and fit through our apartment door. I don't remember the exact dimensions of the door but we had to take the legs off again before moving. It still looks new, two years later. It is microfiber and we've cleaned chocolate off it (granted, it was only a tiny spot). It was about $50-100 more than the sofas at Ikea but worked for us b/c we lived 3 hours away from Ikea. Craigslist is a good idea. Check the garage sale category too- you could get lucky! Have you posted a wanted ad? I haven't had any luck with local thrift stores. I must not frequent them on the right days. Sometimes Target has decent looking leather like furniture.
