- Q: At what weight range should a patient (not able to weight bear at all) be lifted by two people instead of one ? at what weight range is it no longer safe to lift a patient without a power lift ? Just want to check the guidelines others use compared to what I suggest.
- if you work for a health authority, social services or nursing agency then there should be a no lifting policy. it is not safe for you or the patient to lift non weight bearing patients. it is the responsibility of your employer to ensure safety at work. if they refuse make sure you are in a union - this will benefit you and don't forget if you injure the patient they can sue. Take care.
- Q: I was looking into getting a car lift to use for repairs at home and I'm not sure what to pick up. I was looking at some like the MaxJax, but could still like some feedback. Thanks to those who answer!
- I'd like to have one. The customer reviews below are all very positive. The scissor lift in the second source is only half the price (both are rated at 6000 lbs) but the access looks a lot worse - lower lift, and then there are the scissors. Reviews are not as good, either. I'd rather pay for something I like than half as much for something I don't like.
- Q: ok I‘m getting a new car but I don‘t kow if I should get a 2001 Impala with 126,000 miles on it and it needs few tires but it‘s only 5,000! or a 2002 with low miles new tires and it cost 8,000. I really think I should get the cheaper one cause people tell me it‘s a really good deal! what do you think???
- go cheap for ur first car. u can always sell it and get a newer one later when u have the money.
- Q: Could Wings Lift a Smart Car? C Hillers Hornet Replaced Jet tip Blades with Self Propelled Wings! C Vids of Testing R/C version on Facebook!?
- If wings are large enough, and there is adequate power, and that stability and control are correct, anything could me made to fly. That said, a Smart car is way too short to provide adequate moment arm for suitable pitch control.
- Q: Or be alone with Bill Clinton in the Oval Office?
- I'd rather go to a crack party with Obama. Nah, seriously, I'd rather go hunting with Dick.
- Q: Looking to put 22‘ rims on the car but I need to have it lift and maybe need to have it cut in the wheel well.
- By telling them not to go there. A lot of their teachings are unbiblical. No different than the SDA church.
- Q: When I take off and only when I take off from a stop, my car feels like it bounces from the front for a short period of time untill i press on the clutch again or simply reach higher speeds. I know my front struts are in good shape and so is my clutch and tranny. I was thinking it might be some bad motor or tranny mounts. After inspecting and coming to a conclusion, I think it might be the bobble strut. I have never replaced it and all other mounts look good. Is there anyone who could give me advice or also thinks it might be the bobble strut? As far as I know the bobble strut is there to allow the engine to move just a bit but it its worn then it might move excessively right? please help!!!
- your shock absorbers are bad.
- Q: the car is an 87 lincoln town car and as i said the car will often hesitate when i press the gas pedal in or let it out all the way i think something is sticking can anyone help.
- I would recommend getting it checked over. Its quite possible that your car is just worn out. Check the throttle, should pretty easy to spot on an 87. Try moving it with your fingers, if it feels stiff or 'sticky' then try some WD40 and see if you can get it moving more freely.
- Q: I was just wondering if when driving a car and you leave the clutch pedal paused at around 6 or 7/8ths up. can it wear the clutch out for the other 1/8th? it‘s just my clutch has a little play at the very top now i‘m not sure if it‘s always there and it‘s just a coincidence or if I have done it by not fully lifting the clutch up after about 5-10 seconds when in low gears and finding the revs.
- Yes it is okay but may not always be considered the best approach by some codes. Until recently, every house I have lived in had a gas water heater and gas furnace. Both were always connected to the gas line by a flexible copper line. We never had any leaks or other problems with these connections. In recent times because of cheap Chinese stainless steel, you see more connections being made with flexible stainless steel. The odorants in natural gas and propane are not of sufficient concentration to cause copper to fail. They can discolor the surface but that is all.
