- Q: if i get a mobile phone on pay monthlywhich 1 can i make international calls withhelp answer pleasefanx
- Using WhatsApp on most smart phones resolves this, as long as your friends have it too 1st year free, works over Wi-Fi, you send messages to your friends as long as you have a Wireless link from a hotel, restaurant or anywhere else while travelling It works in Symbian, Android, Balack Berry and even those weird Iphones :-)
- Q: I want to sell my Pre-paid Virgin Mobile Prepaid phone, but before I do I want to make sure that you can reactivate it after you cancel so whoever buys it can actually use it. Can someone please tell me how to cancel it, and how the person buying it can reactivate so i can pass that info to them? Please answer this. Who ever can answer this will get BEST ANSWER and the HIGHEST POINTS POSSIBLE I CAN GIVE!!! :)
- Would like to know this too
- Q: How do smartphones set up downtime or empty status?
- In the phone "Settings → Call Settings → Call Forward → Voice calls → always transfer → enter the number", OK can.
- Q: i have an att phone(cingular) and would like to put it into something like a sidekick lx or the t mobile shadowp.s. i have the regular att sim cardis this possible?
- Yes, it will fit, however, if you are putting it into a cell phone that is exclusive to T-Mobile (such as the LX) you will not have a lot of the features you would have if you kept T-Mobile. With the LX (and the Shadow, I think), you will only be able to make calls and text messages.
- Q: im am in this plan thing at a mobileshop where i keep a mobilephone for like 4 years and then i can upgrade to a similarly priced phone for free, any way i brought a nokia n95 (at about $800 - $900) (i can also put money towards it as well when upgrading) and i was wondering what mobile phone i should get, i was thinking of either an iphone 4 or a htc 7
- HTC HD7 Windows Phone (T-Mobile) - The phone is incredibly quick booting. - The UI is beautiful and so smooth to use in comparison to other smartphones. - The build quality is solid and it feels like a good phone in your hand with the metal surround instead of cheap plastic. - The apps already on the store are of good quality and run very well on the phone, expecting a load more on the US release. - Skydrive integration with the Office Hub and your photo's is very useful allowing super quick upload to the cloud. - The one touch camera launch from the lock screen is very handy the flash is super bright with double LED. --------------------------------------
- Q: I just don't understand the methods of payment, plus its so expensive and I do not understand how everyone manages to afford a mobile phone ,just even making a few seconds they take of more than 50p off , Im on o2 I heard thats the cheapers but I was wondering what is cheap ?I know nothing on mobiles I one , and it was a very cheap one it cost 20.00 quid I was wondering which phone is good and which company makes low cost calls as possible
- OK, it's either a prepay deal, or a monthly bill. Prepay is probably easier for you to manage. You decide what you'll spend; say $5, ?10, whatever. Then you go into a shop or use an ATM and pay that amount upfront, before you ring anyone. You now have credit of 5, 10, whatever, until you use it up by making calls or sending texts. The calls will each cost more, so keep them brief : ) Many networks have a deal where if you are Prepay and run out of credit, you can text a friend or parent for free to call you instead. Monthly deals mean that the calls you make are cheaper, each. You agree to pay say ?30 per month for maybe 100 minutes, ringing people. If you make calls and stay on for longer than 100 minutes that month, the price of the call goes up a lot per extra minute, and they bill you for more than ?30. If you use less than 100 minutes, you still pay that ?30. You can ask them to recommend you a deal based on how many minutes you spend on the phone so that you get it right. How do people afford a mobile? They text each other instead of making calls. They buy their kids a prepay phone so they can only use what credit they have at the time, and don't commit to spending a set amount every month. Many networks (O2, Vodaphone) will give you a welcome deal when you sign up with them; maybe 50 free text messages for the first 3 months. These can be free only if you text other O2 customers, for example. Or they offer deals if you get others to sign up with that company. For a year. You should ask most of your friends which company they are with, as it might suit you. But you don't need to be a salesperson for them if not! Also, most will give you free call credit if you buy a new mobile - or even a new SIM card, from them. They might give you $10 worth of credit each month for the next 8 months, for example.
- Q: Does anyone knows that mobile phone number or at least knows a way to find who owns it???
- mobile phone numbers are highly govt protected so there probably isn't a search to find out the owner of the cell like there is a way to find the owner of a land line. plus, there are so many people who have cell phones but they are in other people's name, ie: their parents, siblings, etc. the best way: call and ask
- Q: details about various brands of mobile phone and its uses
- it depends on the type of service that you want (e.i. T-Mobile, ATT, Sprint, ) and the type of phone depends on the needs of the phone. Like if you talk alot and will continuously use your phone, a blackberry would be good, but if you just want something to talk on than a cheap samsung will do just that
- Q: hey, i have the samsung gravity through t-mobile, and they have now made it a free phone my phone has been randomly shutting of at different times, and i was looking to get a new one! do you think it would be possible to get a different ''free phone'' replacement for mine? or no, do i still have to get my same phone?please give me what you think! thanks
- These are questions probably only T-Mobile can answer. Here's my best advice as a T-Mobile customer for years- Don't deal with customer service on the phone. GO INTO A T-MOBILE STORE! They are awesome. Go in - Take them your phone - tell them your problems - ask your questions - they'll let you know what your options are. It's possible you need a new battery? Last time that happened to me, the store associates GAVE me a new one FREE. You are able to upgrade your phone, but you have to have a good payment history and have had the phone for a certain amount of time (can't remember how long that is).
