- Q: Should the American press be restricted by the government? If so, who decides what the restrictions would be? What would the penalty be for violating it?Would these restrictions change American life?
- There is always the restriction of classified material, I'm not sure how many people have the right to classify things or what the requirements are for being classified but they have the right, just like people do, to keep somethings private in that matter. Should they be able to? Yes, you don't want everybody knowing everything that is going on, it's not a good idea.
- Q: I just bought an old drill press from a pawn shop, but there is no manufacturer info on it. All i can find is a model number, RY-6. My first instinct was Ryobi, but can't find anything about it from them, even though it does look very much like their press, just a lot older model. It's a little 10 press. If anyone can either confirm my guess, or point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.

- Q: I have never bench press before in my life and really have never lifted weights. Im 15 years old and weigh about 155 and im 6 foot 1 inches. How much weight did you start with your first time I think I can do 100 lbs but is that to low. Any tips will help I plan on trying on tow days from now. Thanks
- I would start out with 15 reps 1 set 30 inch wide grip, with the bare bar, and add 5 pounds every workout. I would recommend a spotter when the weight starts to feel on the heavy side at rep 15. After about 4 to 8 weeks you can change your reps and sets. I make changes to mine every 8 weeks.
- Q: I think I might be using too fine of grounds they keep getting into my cup. What are some good brands of coffee to use with a French press?
- 1) Buy a decent press. Bodum has a range of price points and all of them work about the same. I have 2 medium-size presses that make about 2 large mugs worth of coffee at a time. 2) Buy whole beans, ideally freshly roasted from a local roaster, and grind them immediately prior to brewing. Keep your beans stored in an airtight container out of the light (e.g. in a cupboard), and only buy what you can reasonably use within two or three weeks. 3) Use a burr grinder to make a medium-coarse grind. I use a Hario manual grinder. They take some time, but at only $25-30 on Amazon, they're the best value in terms of quality and end result versus price paid for the grinder. Regardless of how coarsely you grind your coffee, odds are there will be some small particles that the filter doesn't catch. That is, in my experience, normal. Just don't drink the last sip or two of coffee.
- Q: I'd like to get my press release picked up in Yahoo! News. What are some of the methods/services to use in doing this?
- As okorder /
- Q: Another question: What should I do when bench pressing to work out different areas? Grip-wise.Thanks in advance.
- The muscles used in the bench press are the following: -Pectoralis Major, but mainly the sternal (lower) head. -Triceps -Anterior Deltoids (the front segment) Other muscles that are involved but not really trained in this exercise are: -The wrist flexors/extensors (forearms) -Biceps (for stabilization) The effects of different grips - a closer grip will shift the stress onto the triceps more. A wider grip will shift the stress onto the chest more. An incline bench press will put most of the work on your clavicular (upper) pecs and anterior deltoids.
- Q: I run an online magazine and a photographer needs a press packet to send to the modeling agency.Any idea on what to include?
- The purpose of a press packet (also called a press kit) is to provide the media with concise, timely and compelling newsworthy documents and information concerning your organization, its issues and the event about which you want to receive news coverage. The information provided in the packet, and the packet itself, should be graphically attractive, easy to read and accessible at a glance. Normally, a press packet is given to journalists prior to press conferences, briefings, editorial meetings, interviews and introductory meetings. Material in the press packet will include Press or News Release,List Of Speakers, Press Statement, Biographies, Print Visuals, and Video/Audio Tape
- Q: Hi, I just wanted to ask a question about basic press-ups.For the last few weeks i've been doing 100 press ups a night, in two sets of 50 (with a good few minutes break in between), anyway i noticed a huge difference at first, but for a while it's not actually improving anything. Anyway i was wondering if it would be effective to switch this exericse to alternative days, and on the other days to do 50 normal press ups, 10 narrow ones (with hands together touching) and 10 wide ones (with arms considerably far apart) or other amounts depending on how difficult it will prove; so my question is would this prove effecitve and is it worthwhile? Otherwise i'll just continue with 100 press ups. Many thanks
- the best thing you could do to get results with press ups at this stage (seeing as you can do more than 50 pushups) is to condense your workouts one set once or twice a week doing as many pushups as you can till failure. that's it. each time you do pushups try and do more than you did previously and that will help you get results. another good way to go about getting results with press ups is to switch to a more difficult variation whcih will decrease the number of reps you can do. you can also try wearing a backpack with weights put inside to weigh you down as you do the press ups.
- Q: So I just recently discovered what loose eyeshadow (pigments) are and they do seem to give off an amazing vibrant colour. However, I've been thinking can you still get the same vibrant colour with a really good cream eyeshadow as a base (over primer) and then pressed eyeshadow on top?I've been thinking about getting NYX loose pearl eyeshadows however, the thing is I have a lot of pressed eyeshadow palettes already. So, I've been wondering if I were to buy a good cream eyeshadow, such as Maybelline Color Tattoo and use that as a base before applying the pressed eyeshadow, would I get vibrant colour as well?I've been reading up reviews and I think it does the same thing however, I'm unsure. Also, are loose eyeshadows (when applied with medium) as easy to blend as pressed eyeshadows are?Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
- It really depends on the brand you get. Lets say you get the cheapest one of course youre going to get jipped, you get what you pay for. A lot of times companies make the product look really great in the packaging and when you open it up its just...pooh. They throw in unnecessary sparkles(I'm not a fan) but what you can do is spend a little extra more pigmented colors and throw on top some sparkles if thats what you like. I really like sugarpill's products they're well pigmented and it stays on. Problem is it's pricer and limited in colors. :) GOOD LUCK sorry I couldn't give you a direct answer.
- Q: i use a french press and i get small particles in my coffee that taste bad. what kind of filter can i use to filter those particles out? name a SPECIFIC product that i can buy.
- Don't do it! I can't be sure without more info, but I would guess that you may be using too fine of a grind. Grind your beans more coarsely. Also, be sure that you are pressing slowly and straight down on the plunger. If the plunger is tilted, it will allow for some grounds to enter your beverage. Don't refilter the coffee, this will not help the taste at all. Feel free to contact me if you need more help!
