- you have to remove the tank to replace it.WHICH SOMETIMES IS NOT EASY. you can still use the toilet if you do this. stick a rag or something in the open overflow hole. let the water fill the tank. then using the water shut off valve below the toilet turn the water off when the tank is full. do that untill you get it repaired.

- I have found you two suppliers of tubes, the second wall thickness isn't what you want but they are complete containers with caps. The first supplier supplies polycarbonate tubing in lengths and this is a very hard wearing clear plastic that you can cut to size with a normal hacksaw and then try and find end caps, or you can ask an engineering shop to turn six end caps for you and cut a groove in to fit an o-ring seal. The first option will be cheaper. Hard wearing isn't cheap.

- Ok friend, according my little knowledge, the plastic is better in transporting some kinds of liquids(eg. Water, oil, etc). Why? We've known that water(H2O) is containing Hydrogen and Oxgen elements. The Oxygen can risk some metal (called corosi), the metal will be damaged and doesn't good for a long time.. Plastic? It's not like metal. Good for it.. Thanks,
