- Q: Hello! My family's Corgi, Cowboy, has gotten to the point now where he is unable to walk. He slides around, but I think the discomfort of moving has caused him to become more and more stationary which just causes him to be still when he does eventually move. I would really like to get him a wheel chair since his front legs work great. Store bough wheel chairs are absurdly expensive, so I've decided to construct one myself! So! - Depends on how good your sewing skills are. Take the chair completely apart. Carefully remove the upholstery from each piece of chair to make a pattern for the new fabric. Make the piping, and baste it to one piece. Sew all the fabric pieces together and place each complete section back onto the section of the chair it came from. Staple it to the frame. Mark the screw holes so you'll know where they are. Re-assemble the chair. This is a simple as a simple job gets.

- NavyBrat - I recently re-covered 6 kitchen chairs and 6 dining rom chairs. They are in separate rooms but visible to each other. I chose 2 different patterns with the same color profile. Different textures - the kitchen chairs have a much heavier texture tan the dining room chairs. I did a lot of shopping and found my fabric at a local remnant upholstery shop. I purchased 5 yards of fabric for $35. The original price on the fabric for the kitchen chairs was $30 per yard and the original price for the dining room fabric was $35 per yard. I do believe I got a great deal. 12 chair cushions for $35. Same color profile - different pattern, different texture. Good luck
