Q:I purchased this chair online

There are options for refinishing chairs. You can strip down the wood and restain and finish it yourself. You can enlist the help of a professional, or do a Google search for DIY. I, personally, love an eclectic look. But, the chair actually clashes just a bit with the rest of the color scheme. Refinishing it would probably be a good idea.

Q:Found a very old wooden chair from what I think could be the 1900s. Do you know what type of chair this is called?...how would I look it up to know its worth. The bottom of the chair has a GB or CB stamp on it. Would you know how much somthing like this would go for? Thanks :)

Q:Do you have to set them up and break them down or does the renting fee include this?We're having our ceremony held outside, and the place we are having it is costing us $6/chair and they are just conference chairs with white covers. We saw the nice, white ceremony chairs at a rental place for $2.75. That will cut our ceremony fee in half, which is great!! Especially with having better looking chairs. I just am unsure if they normally set them up (the rental company) or if we have to do this ourselves.Thanks :)

Normally the cost only includes delivery and pick up, not set up. You may be able to offer them a little extra for them to set up and tear down though. Or hire a couple of pre teens/teens to come set them up and tear them down for you....It would still be a lot cheaper than the $6 chairs!

Q:what company sponsors or who created them and everything about them i need to know MILLER might be one im not sure how would i sell this i need ideas on office chairs

Well, I don't know if this will help you any but I work in an office and spend a lot of time sitting down. It would be nice to have a chair that has adjustable lumbar support, the kind made out of the microfoam like the new mattresses that have been recently marketed - you know the kind that conform to your body. This way if the back of the chair is adjusted to support your upper back, the lumbar is not over looked. Currently, I have only seen office chairs that support one or the other but not both at the same time. Also, current markets have chairs that massage or vibrate. These are extremely costly and who wants to plug in their chair to an electical outlet or recharge its batteries. I am thinking that if there were a way to create a warming or cooling sensation this might assist with the blood circulation and may be relaxing too. Just a thought. Hope this helps.

Q:I am getting married in September. It is an outdoor wedding in a garden. I have had a couple people suggest to me that I do not even use chairs for guest, only set up a limited amount for the people that are unable to stand. I would estimate we have invited about 200 guests or so but the garden is a very large site so they will have plenty of room. The ceremony should only last about 15-20 minutes, but I am still having doubts about everyone standing. Is it rude to make them stand around?

I agree with the first poster, I would be very angry if I had to stand. How would you feel if you went to a party expecting to sit and were forced to stand? Not to mention, how do you decide who gets the chairs? Maybe someone has an issue you don't know about. I think it would turn into a big fight over the chairs, and people would not enjoy themselves. Even if the ceremony only lasts 15-20 minutes, people will most likely show up early, the ceremony may not start on time, and what about how long it will take everyone to get out afterwards? That would turn into a lot longer than 15-20 minutes. I vote no.

Q:My computer chair just busted after only having it for like 6 months, and im looking to get a new one. Im 61 195 so im pretty big it has to be pretty fort is also a huge deal for me.must be under $500 too im not made of moneyany suggestions ?

My husband goes through computer chairs, too. My son and I have been looking at Office Max and Office Depot. Best Buy, Staples, and any other office supply place carries them. We saw some nice ones for about $200-300. I would go to various stores, sit in several, ask the store which ones have been returned (avoid those) and inquire which ones would hold up for a big guy Also, many companies are offering at least one or two chairs that are considered green. I think that is a great idea.

Q:i got a old barber chair and their is little i know about it can i refurbished it and sell it. all i know is it says manufactured by Larata Barber Supply Co in Ne York,USA. Does anybody know anything on or about it. It has to be a least 75 years old and it is like rotting. Thnxxx!

put a few books under the back wheels, you may have to attach a seat belt to stop you sliding out but this will add to realism while playing driving games
