- The foam used in furniture nowadays is not worth carrying out of the store. Even the good stuff will drop you on whatever is in the base of the seat. The cheap stuff will clump in less than a year, so the chair feels lopsided no matter how you sit. Plan on throwing this chair out in about a year. If you know how to reupholster chairs and can find some cotton batting then you can have a good chair like the ones that used to be Made In America. Otherwise you might as well sit on a bucket: it's just as good and a lot cheaper.

- Well, first you need a chair. (you can get one from Lith if you don't have one). Then you go to set-up and either double click it, or drag it onto the keyboard thing like your skills. Then you press the button (like you would a skill or potion) and BAM! you're sitting on a chair. :D

- Yes, spraying is easier, particularly if the chair has turned (round) legs/spindles. First, sand the chair with 100 grit or finer. Second, spray a coat of primer (since you are going from black to white, this is essential). Third, sand again (lightly) with 150 grit. Fourth, spray the white paint. You may want or need a second coat. If so, sand lighlty between coats.

- I think you're better off using an older chair. The good news is that you can go to virtually any thrift store and find something that will work. You can even recover the seat with your own fabric--just pop it off, stretch the fabric over the edges and underneath, and staple it in place! The bad thing about a NEW chair is that it doesn't have the distressing and charm that the desk does, so it will forever look out of place.

- Q: For Christmas this year I want to do really personal gifts because they are the most fun and I think people enjoy them the most. So I was thinking for one of my friends I would go get a chair from good will and paint it and make it look like hello kitty because she loooves hello kitty. - I loved Hello Kitty growing up! It may be hard to find a chair that is completely straight in the back as most have some sort of curve. If you find one the is straight. Attaching something on it. MDF is good because it's easy to cut and doesn't splinter. You can cut the shape of Hello Kitty's face with a jigsaw and then glue and screw it in to place. It may just be better to paint the seat. I know that isn't what you wanted but it is probably the best to do. You can paint the legs and back with fun shapes too. The good thing is that Hello Kitty stuff is pretty basic to copy and you should get good results. You could make a slip cover for the chair and attach Hello Kitty to the slip cover... If the chair has rungs, then just make a rectangular piece of fabric with ties and fold it in half at the top of the chair. Then tie it with the ties. Just another idea. Good luck. :)
