Q: It FELL OVER on my 7 year old little brother while it was folded, so after checking him out to see if he was hurt, I told him to sit on the chair and show it who's boss. A few minutes later, I was sitting on the floor and used the chair to help me up. It had a piece of metal coming out and it cut the edge of my right hand, deep. What should I do about this seemingly posessed fold-out chair we've had for 3 years? (and I am NOT kidding)
bang it a couple times against the wall for all the harm it has done , throw it down the steps, grab it by its legs swing it around until it finds the dumpster do a slamn dunk with it. Now you'll show the chair who is boss ,then take the rest of the day off due to chair stress.
Q: i really want a chair like this h except with metal instead of the wood, but still double. Where can i find one?
try craigslist or OKorder
Q: what states if any use the electric chairs
I don't think any states use the electric chair any more as it is considered cruel and unusual punishment. I do believe that Florida and Texas (maybe a few more states) still use death by lethal injection.
Q: Ok, my directors chair which I love so much, has quit. It will not pop up anymore. I guess the shock underneath quit. I have another smaller directors chair, which is just ok. Can I take the shock out of that one and put it in my bigger/better directors chair for it to work again. I miss my good chair, it has arms on it and very good. The other one does not have arms. Please let me know. Thank you
so you have an air shock under the chair that is supposed to hold you up but it leaks air so the chair stays in the lower position all the time? You may be able to replace the seals in the shock, or replace the shock itself. See if you can find the name of the company that made it and the model number and call them about your options. If the shocks are the same size and look the same, you can try switching them.
Q: how do i hook up a game chair to my tv to play on my ps2 phat. it has 4 outputs on the side of the chair. a row of 2 yellow sockets and a row of 2 white sockets. so how do i do this. plz help
What does the manual for the chair say? It sounds as though the chair acts as a through-put, meaning you'd connect the PS2 to the chair, then connect the chair to your TV. Yellow is normally for composite video, whereas white is for audio. If it's the only audio port, then its mono-audio. If there's a red and a white port, then they're for stereo (the white port would be for the left speaker, red for the right speaker.) You only really need to connect an audio cable to the chair's input. I don't think you need to worry about the outputs at all (again, read the manual.) Go to Radio Shack and get a RCA Y-cable so you can take the PS2's white cable and split it so one end goes to your TV and the other goes to your chair. You may need to get an extension cable so it'll reach. Just get any RCA cable - it doesn't have to be white, that's just to help you match the connections between your devices.
Q: What are the possible ways I could use to finish my chair.. oil, varnish, ...? and what are the advantages of each of them, are they cheap, etc?
I would not use oil since it could ruin someones clothes. Varnish or Poly is best. Shellac turns yellow with time. All cost about the same.
Q: Last night my husband and I both fell asleep on the couch in our den around 10:30pm. everything was fine when we fell asleep but when i woke up at 5am on the couch and woke him to go up to bed, we walked out into the extended part of our living room and found a chair that was moved from one side of the room to right in front of the den door. we both swore to eachother that neither one of us moved it. it is just really freaking me out. what was it?
Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. -.-
Q: I am designing a chair for a musician for a school project and have a few questions about the ergonomics of the chairs that musicians sit it while performing and practicing. a. How often (on average) do you practice/play per week? b. What is the proper posture for playing your instrument while sitting? c. Do you prefer to stand or sit when performing/practicing? Why? d. Do you have any physical ailments associated with sitting while playing your instrument? e. How does your seat position within an orchestral setting affect your playing? f. Do you have a favorite chair when practicing/playing? If so, what do you like about it? g. What do you like/not like about the chairs you are typically required to use? h. Would you consider buying a purposely-designed chair for playing if you knew it would help your performance and/or health? i. What characteristics would define an ideal musician’s seat for you and your instrument?
I play the flute, a. I play Monday through Friday for an hour with my school band, and about 30 minutes to an hour most evenings. b. Proper posture is to have both feet flat on the floor while sitting on the edge of the seat with a straight back. c. I prefer to stand when I'm playing by myself, because it makes breathing easier. d. If I have to hold my instrument up for a while, my arms ache, but it's nothing too major. e. The worst part about being a flute player is having to adjust for space and trying to hold the instrument around the chair. So we're constantly shifting, trying to get comfortable. f. The chair I like to use if I have to sit is a little taller and has a lower back. g. The chairs I have to use are generally hard plastic, which is uncomfortable, and they have high backs that are difficult to maneuver around. h. Yes I would. i. One with a lower back, so I could hold my instrument over it, and a little more suited to sitting for longer periods of time.
Q: I really like the look of the Eddie Bauer high chairs. I really don't like plastic high chairs because they just look cheapy to me. For those of you with the EB high chairs, do you like them and which model do you have? Any recommendations? Thanks!
i liked the eddie bauer too. but ive found that my baby just needs a little booster seat that attaches to our regular dining chairs. if you like the look of not cheap i would say just to get a booster with tray. that way its not a completely seperate chair. my baby girl is 7 months and loves her booster sitting and sitting next to us. i feel the high chair is an expense that can be avoided. if you just want to have one, i def like it the best :)
Q: My mother purchased this high chair for me and I a not too sure I like it for my sons age now. He is 14 months. I have been sitting him in this since about 4 months. I am now starting to think that he isn't wanting to sit still in it because he doesn't have very much room between his crotch area and his back.
plus we can bring it other places as it is portable. The pad comes off and goes in the wash (even though you don't want to do that...put it could be wiped too) and this can be used from high chair to booster seat. It folds flat for easy portability. Plus it takes up no extra space as you attach it to a chair you already have! And no worries about the crotch area... it's just straps.
