Q: I have an english project due very soon, its a role play thing called town hall, we pick an issue, which is bad roads in our town, then we get a role, mine was a person in a wheel chair, so i need to know, do bad roads effect you in any way, like having to avoid pot holes or anything, repairs to your chair? anything will help.
I am not permanently in a chair, but was for a while due to an injury. I was stuck with the hard wheeled variety.. I felt every bump, and the terrain had to be quite smooth to facilitate independent travel. People having chairs with pneumatic tires are less likely to be affected by road hazards. You see people buzzing around in parking lots and on roadsides all the time with motorized wheelchairs and scooters. That said, bad roads would make it challenging to get around, they can handle a certain level of ill-maintained roads, but they have their limits. When your tires are only 6 inches in diameter, an 8 inch pothole causes trouble. Try to think about this from their point of view - noticing the size of curbs vs clearance of the chair, etc.
Q: I bought a hanging chair at the market, but I'm not sure how to attach it to the ceiling without it falling down when somebody sits on it. Help please!
Before you attempt to hang this chair, you need to do the following: 1) Use a stud finder to find the floor joist 2) Once you find it, find the center of the joist 3) Take a drill and a small 1/16th drill bit and drill a pilot hole into the joist. If you see wood in the shavings, you are good. Otherwise you have not hit the joist. 4) Take a lag bolt type hood and screw it into the joist. At least 3 should be in the wood. The deeper you go, the better. 5) Hang your chair. Good luck
Q: what is the fabriq ? and what is inside the chair is it just foam ?and how can i make in home ?can any one give me any sites for this stuff pz with pics...

Q: There's a chair my grandma got at a garage sale, so its always been in really bad shape, but my dads been attached to it ever since she passed. The springs are starting to cut through the bottom of the chair and the filler (the stuff that gives the chair cushion) is beginning to go with it. I'd really like to reupholster the chair and give it new life. The thing is, I've never done any reupholstering at all. Would this be possible or would I need someone to work on it for me? Are there any good websites with how to videos on this type of thing? I don't care much about the cost. I'm just looking for tips and suggestions. Thanks.
It's real easy; my aunt found this rocker at a garage sale and reupholstered it w/ little trouble.
Q: i have an eames lounge chair how do I find the year and authenticity of it?
To find age, check each wood veneer, some models have a manufactured date stamped. If wood veneer is made of Rosewood, then it is definitely made before 1981. Other than that, its hard to find exact date of creation. the best is to ask Herman Miller. To find authenticity, check the bottom of chair and ottoman. If it is an original Herman Miller lounge chair, it should have a metal circle plate with H logo at the center with 'Designed by Charles Eames' around it. It also should have a patent sticker. Some of later models have a black rectangle shape sticker says 'herman miller'. The current model have a silver sticker with 'herman miller' on it.
Q: I heard they just announced a chairs match coming soon and I wonder what's a chairs match. Is it like No DQ?
Wrestlers can use Chairs as Weapons any way they want. The only limit is their imagination. Do you remember the things that Rob Van Dam, Sabu, Balls Mahoney and Axl Rotten used ot do with Chairs n The Original ECW? Well in TLC you can do all those things and more. If you recall a few years ago on TLC, John Cena ended a Chairs Match by dropping 23 Metal Chairs on Wade Barrett.
Q: I am having a very hard time finding a colorful desk chair that is able to spin and has arm rests for my room...If anyone can tell me a good place to look for one, or even links to a chair that would be great! =]Thank you!

Q: if i was walking in different country and for some reason i get knocked out and taken like the movie taken for some unknown reason whats the best way i get get out of a chair while tied . i already am a black belt in kempo and a brown belt in krav maga, and have been doing russian systema for about 6 years now, but i do not know S.E.R.E training. i ask because i travel allot and i know there are some crazy mother ******* out there, and it would be nice to know something or two about how to get out of that kind of situation.
In real situations you get yourself hyped up to the point your body will actually swell up. Once tied and then you try to calm yourself back down so the swelling goes down. It should make the restraints loose enough, you may be able to get loose. This would naturally be in Theory because a body tends to swell when panic and fear exist. You could study different kinds of chairs and look for obvious points where a weakness would exist. That kind of knowledge would be helpful.
Q: I'm looking for an office chair that cheap, but decent, and it doesn't have to be a brand name.

Q: I have a desk chair that leans back and one of the arms broke. When you lean back in the chair it puts alot of stress on the arm and it finally snapped after a couple of years. Now when you sit in the chair it twists and it really uncomfortable. I can solve the problem by putting the arm back together and was thinking that i could make a splint kind of thing for it, but the arm is a weird curvy shape and any straight material won't work. Any suggestions for materials that i could use would be appreciated or if you have another idea of how to fix it, i would happy to hear them. Please don't say super glue or tape because it will not work. Also, i'm not buying a new chair so please don't leave that as a response either.
You are wrong about using a glue. But then glue is not the right word anyway. Use a material called PL Premium Construction Adhesive. Tube section at many locations. Just don't spend much time breathing it and do not get it on your skin. This adhesive is used to stick most anything to anything - forever. Builders and masons have used this stuff for decades. The old joke is that PL will stick a Volkswagon to a brick wall. How strong? Well, if you use PL to stick two large boards together, you will never be able to break the bond - even with an axe or a ten pound sledge. The wood will be smashed to pieces and the two adhesive faces will still be solidly stuck together. As it relates to your work, I have used it to repair runners on rocking chairs and legs that have snapped apart. Still going thirty years later.
