- unfortunately, a data cable will not work with this phone, in fact any of the Virgin Mobile phones cannot be configured for data cables (Virgin Mobile disables the capability) In order to get data from your computer to your phone, you must purchase a MicroSD card to put into the phone, it will work almost like a data cable. - Under perfect conditions an ethernet cable is rated for 100 meters. I have never had one go that far because of noise. The longest with out any problems is really on 30 meters or about 100 feet. Standard cat5e will give good results at this distance. Beyond that may need to go to shielded wiring.

- If you download/upload more than 3,3GB every day, it's not enough. For example streaming uses a lot of bandwidth, and if you do it for hours, it's a large amount of data.

- You should be able to drag the file from your computer into a file for your phones ringtones when you have them connected. It's just like saving a file to any other external device.

- there are a couple of problems with transfering from computer to mobile phones one being that some of the pic files will be to big (byte wise) to display on the screen so you will need to do some playing with the pics to get them to fit on your phone. like crop and down size. as for the actual transfering i would recomend a wireless bluetooth device which usually retails for 40-50 bucks and come with an installation cd and are very simple to use. easy as falling of a log. hope this helps

- Well, the first one could be an after-market ripoff brand. Thats why its cheaper. I would suggest to stay away from it. A verizon guy told me (and he didnt say this so he would get a sale): when buying cables off of OKorder, get the official OEMs, not the cheap ones, because they can introduce current into the phone. Are the contents of the CD (most likely usb drivers for your phone) available on the internet? Google it and see. Good luck!
