- Q:i have nokia 3230 and want to transfer images and other data from mobile to pc and vice versa. i have installed the connection cord to my pc and its also decting itbut i dont understand how to actually transfer thingsplze help
- If it's detecting it then go to my computers try to look the NOKIA icon and double -click it. The folder structure of your nokia set will pop-up along with the contacts, messages etc. If you are unable to see the folder structure then you may be rquired to install the software. if you didn't receive any software cd along with the mobile set then there is workaround for this ie. try to get software cd for any Nokia N-Series and install the software . It has got sybo. os and got the same set of drivers required for n3230 , i believe try this will help.
- Q:data and low voltage cables. i was told that i had to use 2 inch pvc sch 80 conduit. i don't see the difference between the 2 if its just low voltage. this is in a 3' trench. no concrete above.

- It doesn't actually matter which folder you put it in. :) I made a new folder called media and put all my music in there but i guess you can if you want put it into DCIM, that folder is where all the pictures you take go.

- Yes it can be reused. They may have meant that you can't move data from the original drive with the cable more than once which is obvious since it's all moved together.

- Q:I have a very common LG CU400 cell and want to be able to pull some of the pictures that I have taken on the phone off into a printing kiosk, or onto a PC - I can't seem to find anything that fits this description. Does anybody out there know of such a cable? I have found LG Data USB Cables but am not sure if it will allow me to pull pictures onto my PC. Thanks!
- Best thing to do is to call the LG support line or go to there website then click link to 'contact us' , they would be able to tell you what's the best thing to do. But I guess, having the USB data cable would do the trick. You have to install your installation disc that came with the phone. It should contain so useful help for data transferring. Goodluck!

- Q:I have a single cat5e cable to upstairs and would like to connect an rj11 jack for phone use and an rj45 for network use. It looks like cat3 only has 4 active pins while a single phone line only has 2 active pins. Since there are 8 wires in Cat5e cable this seems possible - appreciate any thoughts.
- In theory it should be possible, but a few caveats, one, you will never get speed over 100mb for the data side, and there is a theoretical risk to the ethernet devices due to phone ringer interference. The link below talks about it and gives the correct pinout info.

- My cousin has a mac and had trouble downloading the ringers to his phone. I have windows and all I do is plug in the usb to the computer and wait for the screen to pop up, if nothing pops up go look for it in my computer and click on the d drive. Then you open the folder where your music is at and just drag the song you want to the cellphone folder. If you had windows it would be a lot easier cause i just plug it in and open my windows media player and add songs to the phone.
