Q:Need Large solar panels. ?
I cannot offer a source of info, but... Solar power is great, but not ideal (yet). Currently, one-story buildings that have a rooftop totally made up of solar panels can only get about % of the power needed by that means. Additional panels will be needed.
Q:best value solar pv panel ?
If powering a PC is your only goal, consider replacing the power supply in your PC with one that runs off native 2 volts (like the kind intended for RV's). Then you can avoid the 30% loss of energy in a cheap inverter.
Q:Which spectrum of sunlight generates the electricity in a solar panel?
It's a huge field of study, very important to solar cell development. People are trying to optimize spectral response for sunlight, even for sunlight in specific places. Google solar cell spectral response for many many websites. Most of them are specific to one experiment.
Q:Solar Panel Watts?? help!?
Watts is a measurement of power which is a combination of Voltage x Amps Example: a 200 Watt panel can produce 6.6 amps at 2 Volts. (200 = 2 x 6.6) If you bought a 24 volt system the same 200 Watts would give you half the amount of amps since the power (watts) is the same. When determining your needs for a solar system there are many factors that have to be taken into account. The amount of power you use will depend on what appliances you have in the house, how much you use them, and how careful you are with vampire loads (A TV or stereo will use some power even when turned off unless you unplug them). The amount of panels you need will also depend on your battery system, amount of sunlight that you have in a day and how many days of reserve power you think you will need based on the weather in your area. If you wanted to completely run your house on solar energy you are looking at an investment of $5,000 - $20,000 or even more. There sometimes are tax incentive depending on where you live that will reduce your overall cost. Some examples of power usage: Toaster : 800-500W Microwave : 600-500W Dishwasher : 200-500W Washing Machine : 500W Vacuum Cleaner : 200-700W Iron : 000W Clothes dryer : 4000W Ceiling Fan : 0-50W Table Fan : 0-25W Electric Blanket : 200W Hair Blow dryer : 000W Electric Shaver : 5W Laptop Computer : 20-50W Desktop Computer : 80-50W TV (9 colour) : 70W Clock radio : W Fridge / Freezer : 500W 25 colour TV : 50W Electric Kettle : 2000W
Q:Solar panels?? I need help!?
Solar panels are a great way to cut back on your energy bill. Once you are hooked up to solar energy, the home owner does absolutly nothing different than if you buy electricity from the power-company. Sinse you live in texas, it is more than likely you will not be able to use purely solar power to meet your energy needs unless you purchase a large system ($30,000+). However with enough of an investment, you can 'Sell' your energy back to the power company and greatly reduce your electric bill. I would call a licensed Solar Power company for more information if you do not know much about solar. While the system is relativally simple, it should only be designed and installed by trained licensed professionals.
Q:how much power do i need from my solar panels?
Very simple. Look at your bills from the past year and calculate how much power you used and see what you need to cover that usage. How are we supposed to know how much power you use? Maybe you live in a bdrm trailer or a 6000 sg ft house with 20 kids. Oh and remember a few things. There is more to ' going off the grid ' than just solar panels. When the panels work depends a lot on your climate. They kind of suck on cloudy days or if you live in the artic with 6 months of darkness. Also , you need an area for the (not so cheap) storage batteries. Learn to live by cooking with gas or wood as hydro is limited , so is heat. How do you plan on heating your home /water/ refrigerators and freezers? Off the grid means a lot of compromise. Even the amount of time you can spend on the computer asking these questions. You may be limited to no more than hr per day. Off the grid also includes removing any electronic influence. No cell phones , tv (cable/sat) internet. Grow your own food and live off the land. The amount of solar panels you would need to maintain even a current lifestyle as most of us know it would probably require at least /2 acre and the cost would take at least 5-25 yrs to recover. You really need to spend more time into looking at what the cost versus return is. Like I said before. Look at what you use and see what it takes to get that from your panels. You will be shocked. Currently the panels are very good. But they cannot produce what the average home needs per day every day, they are support systems. Much like a fire place. Now they are nice to have and are very efficient. 50 yrs ago you used to toss in 2-3' logs about 6 around into the only heat source in your home. A fireplace. And it sucked more cold air into the house than the heat it produced. History has a way of repeating itself. This stuff was out almost a decade ago, they just didn`t have batteries then
Q:Designing 3d Solar Panels?

Q:how many solar panels do I need for my house if in average i consume 880 kwh?
how many solar panels do I need for my house if in average I consume 880 kwh
Q:How much does it cost a factory to make a solar panel?
Unfortunately, yes. Solar panels require high-grade silicon which is very expensive. Also, volume sales aren't yet high enough to push down prices. Don't worry though, as people buy them and the technology matures it'll get cheaper. I remember DVD players costing $2000+. Now you can get one for less than $30.
Q:Mitsubishi Solar Panels For Home Installation: How Much Do The Panels Cost?
Panels will cost in the range of 300-600 dollars for about 00 watts on average ( enough for one large lightbulb to run a few hours a day). The rest of the system needed will cost $2500-$4000. That is for the equipment. Cost for Installation?? Figure about 0 year life on equipment. It will probably never pay back investment, but will cut power usage. You can reduce power usage much more cost effectively buy simply conserving (Hot water temp. down, CFE bulbs, Better insulation, Better windows, Heat/Air a little colder/hotter, Attic ventilation, Geo Thermal heating/colling system). All of these measures will pay back sooner and save power usage. Solar will never pay back without major subsidies from the taxpayers. Particularly if in an area that has many cloudy days. Check it out. The calculations are basic and the facts are available if you really want them. Don't believe any salesmen or Environmentalists. They don't want you to know the facts.
