FAQ of Packing Seal Clean Water Centrifugal Pump

How can I get trained on CNBM products?

Yes, we provide training courses in our factory (products, general and specific pump technology, hydraulics, and practical applications). Please consult your sales manager or get in touch with our headquarters for more information.

Are your pumps cheaper than those of your competitors?

CNBM aims to give its customers the highest standards of quality and service and delivery times, all at a reasonable price.

Do you have self-priming pumps?

Yes, our product portfolio also includes two ranges of self-priming pumps: self-priming electric pumps and self-priming side channel pumps.

Is it really necessary to fit a bleed valve for the boxes?

It is always best to have a bleed valve as the gas produced by the fermenting sewage is potentially hazardous.

Q:Black ATV silicone on water pump gasket?
autozone sells parts..dont fix cars. black works fine on water pump. and you do use silicone with gaskets on certain applications. Water pump especially (unless you enjoy doing things twice). a light layer to hold the gasket in place! otherwise it will never line up. I use either black or gray whenever i need to make a gasket or install a w//p
Q:Does the water pump effect the car AC?
The water cooling system for the engine (radiator, water pump, hoses, etc.) is completely separate from the air conditioning system. The water pump moves water from the radiator (where the water is cooled off) to the engine where the water travels through tubes in the block, picking up heat (cooling the block) and then returns to the radiator. A failing water pump would not cause burning antifreeze. It would cause overheating by not moving the water, or not moving it fast enough. The smell of antifreeze in the exhaust (a sweet smell) usually makes me think of a failed head gasket or a cracked block. The water is somehow getting into the combustion chambers from the tubes in the block. If the engine has been overheated it is not unusual for the head gasket to blow or for the block to be damaged. Take your car to a reputable mechanic - not a buddy who works on his own car in the back yard. Ask friends and family who they go to and what they have experienced. There are good, honest mechanics out there. Find one and have him check out the car. Pay him for his training and experience. It will be cheaper in the long run than going to the cheaper guy working in his driveway.
Q:m azda mx6 it overheats after I drive 20 minutes, I think I need a thermostat and my water pump changed?
When the engine is COLD , remove the radiator cap Start engine and let it idle up to normal ( standard ) operating temperature on your Temp guage . If you can see the water/coolant moving at a reasonable speed within the radiator it almost discounts a problem with the Water Pump and Thermostat . As the First answerer stated ( and it made good sence ) replace the thermostat anyway as they are cheap and easy to replace probably only have a healthy lifespan of 5 - 10 years . Also Replace the radiator cap , They do fail and again about 5 - 10 years max lifespan More likely than anything the radiator has some blocked passages and either needs to Cleanout ( Remove and strip down ) or a total replacement . Take it to a Radiator / Cooling System specialist for a 2nd opinion if you cannot find the problem yourself
Q:hello i have a 1993 eagle vission my problem is yhat is overheating butt i have changed the water pump, radiato?
head gasket bad? engine timming off?
Q:how do i know if i need to replace the water pump on a 2000 kia sephia?
Is it a big pulley down there? I'm thinking its the crankshaft pulley. That one won't turn by hand. Very difficult. What kind of car? Is a serpentine belt which one belt turn everything or multiple belts? A water pump should turn by hand and if its bad it will leak water. But there are time when the pump just goes out. Replace belt
Q:How do you remove the water pump from bmw m42 engine?
Remove fan from pulley (usually using a big special open end wrench) turning clockwise with you in front of the car/engine. Loosen bolts holding pulley to water pump (but do not remove bolts and pulley yet). Adjust fan belt tensioner to remove alternator belt (there is a plastic cover in the middle of the tensioner pulley under which is a bolt usually torx 50 with which you can adjust the pulley pulling clockwise/to the right). Proceed to remove bolts and pulley from water pump. Remove bolts from water pump. Put 2 screws into the empty/previously unused holes in the sides of the water pump to pull it out. Remove and replace water pump. Refill with coolant. Bleed cooling system to remove air from the system.
Q:Could my problem be with the water pump?
Ok when a water pump is not working of is going out it leaks water or coolant but not because the thermostat is new mean it works trust me that happend to me. Try this leave the thermostat out and test your car. But more important ones you put any liquid in to the radiator make sure you take all the air off from the engine because if you don't it will seem that its full and when the the car runs the water Level will drop and affect your engine.
Q:Which is the better option for a home water pump?
In case of pump failure, it's much easier to repair/replace a floor based pump plumbed with isolation valves and unions. I've replaced a few due to motor failures and flood damage. Arguably, the submersible pump wouldn't have suffered damage due to flooding. Another consideration is vertical pump height. A floor based pump has to draw a vacuum to induce water to flow up to the impeller. This limits the practical draw to between 25 and 30 ft. Much more than that height and the vacuum will exceed the vapor pressure of the the water, boiling it rather than pumping it. A special device can be used to boost the lift: an ejector is placed down the well. Water is pumped down to the ejector, which pulls additional water back up using the venturi effect. This method suffers from additional friction losses but has clear advantages. If you need to pump water up a well more than 20 feet vertical, you should consider a submersible pump, particularly if you are concerned about the possibility of the water table lowering.
Q:what is the discharge amount of 10hp water pump?
a 10HP water pump is huge. if it is electrically driven, you will need 3 phase power. typical rating for a water well submersible type is 240 gallons per minute, or 345,600 gallons per day, which would be about a million liters per day. a sump pump type might deliver more flow, but i could not find a spec for one that big. most water pumps are 1 HP or less.
Q:Small 12v Water Pump for Air Mister...........................................................................?
The ac converters are 12V rectifiers so just use the pump (wire to a battery) without the converter or check with motor home repair place
