Overview

the motor is a variable-frequency, three-phase asynchronous motor exclusively designed for the tower cranes and other similar amplitude mechanisms. It is applied to the
amplitude mechanisms in very harsh working conditions such as construction site or open pit quarry

Features

With introduction of spline output shat, it has good mechanical bearing capacity and excellent assembly performance;
Motor installation interface has the same size with original tower crane (POITAIN series), making it easier for switching and upgrading of old products

The motor is a variable-frequency motor featuring a wide range of speed regulation, small starting current, big starting torque and overload ability;
A thermal protection component is buried into the in stator winding and wired into the motor temperature protection control system, making motor more safer and reliable;
New brake (national utility model ZL201101881732, ZL201120188164.3) with higher safety and reliability this reduces the maintenance time and cost compact structure, small volume, lightweight as well as high reliability, so it can be braked quickly and positioned accurately. It is suitable for frequent starting and raking

Q:How 3VDC can make the induction motor single phase? please provide the details and circuit if have, TQ
no, it cannot. Most induction motors require either 120 volts AC 60Hz, or 220-240 VAC 50Hz. In theory you can use an inverter to convert 3 VDC to that AC voltage, but in practice, the only invertes you will be able to buy will require 12 VDC. .
Q:I am using a single phase ac electric motor (115 V, 60 Hz), and I need to calibrate the speed with some other equipment. What can I use to vary the output slightly around the max?According to the specs, it is only a 1.6 amp motor at max draw. For this reason, I am concerned about using a router speed control because the high resistance may just turn it off and on.Thanks a lot for your help!
You need a frequency inverter to alter the supply frequency.
Q:how many capacitor that i used?also specify formula for calculating filter capacitor...
A full wave bridge is likely best surge rated about twenty times the current rating of the DC motor, unless you have a current limiting resistor, perhaps 1 ohm rated 100 watts. Try about 2 microfarads rated at least 330 dc or ac volts. That will likely put about 240 volts on the motor, while it is running at light load. If so, you will need more capacity, perhaps more than 100 microfarads for a large dc motor. You should increase capacity until you get to about 190 volts at light load as the voltage will drop at full load on the motor. You likely need at least two heat sinks for the full wave bridge rectifier. Neil
Q:Its a squirrel cage motor from a microwave fan. It has five wires; white, yellow, orange, red, and blue. Inside, it has 16 electromagnets on the stator. How is this motor used?
This may be a multi speed (3) motor and they are using one speed of it. The mfg uses one motor in many different appliances. Does this uW have an exhaust fan which runs on differet speeds? The colors mean nothing in general. I assume that Yel Org are common and Red, Yel, Blu are (3) speeds. Powering it up one way is CW and the other way is CCW. Examining the cage will tell you which way to turn it.
Q:I installed a new blower motor resistor pack on my 97 Dodge B2500 Van. The pack and connecting harness had burnt from a faulty connection. I chose to use one from a 98 1500 Pickup as that I could not find a wiring harness for my van's resistor pack (No salvage yard had a 97 or latter van). The old resistor pack was the open coil type, the new pack it the solid ceramic type. I installed the pack and harness on Saturday. I located the pack (when standing in front of the van) on the left side of the cover over the evaporator. core. Yesterday and today the blower motor quit running when I was adjusting the fan speed. The AC compressor was still running. Shut the control off and back on a few times and the fan works, it seemed to take about 30 seconds to one minute to restart. It will work at any speed. It only quits when I change fan speed and at random at that.
you may need to replace the actual switch that turns it on ,i have seen a lot of those go bad and that's how they,ll do if it had anything to do with the resistor again it wouldn't work at all or it would have burnt the new resistor out on it,so you know that part of it is still working, id lean towards the switch ,it could have been part of the problem all along ,id try another switch on it,see if that doesn't repair it,you could also have motor going out on that one that will cause them to burn up resistors a lot,good luck.
Q:It is an older motor, but runs well... except that it doesn't always start in the same direction. When I switch it on, it hangs for a second and then starts in either one direction or the other.
The capacitor is frequently linked between a objective terminal and then the two to stay or independent. bypass away one end of the capacitor at its objective terminal, yet substitute the different end from stay to independent (or vice versa).
Q:I've read that it's because they don't require commutators but i couldn't understand that part .. can someone please explain in some details or offer me a useful link
It has good power factor at high load thats why..IT has 0.8 lag p.f at full load
Q:our ac motor run @ 72 hertz with frequency converter
has to be converted to 60
Q:I am converting my '79 VW rabbit from ac to non-ac.Where do I find the bracket that holds the alternator low on the block.
Check first with the auto-parts dept.at the dealership. They are fairly knowledgeable as to whether that is possible. Otherwise ask the service manager if that is possible to do. They may have a parts car out back of the dealership and you could get a used bracket there. Otherwise check out autosalvage yards for a 79 non ac car for the bracket.
Q:I have an AC treadmill motor 115volt 18AMPS and want to use for a Wind generator, There are 3 wires connected to the motor and another grounded to the body of the treadmill. If i connect a rectifier, pls will it work??? THANKS!!
No. The motor does not contain magnets with which to generate current through rotating the shaft. However, if you don't believe that you can always experiment. Put a voltmeter on a a pair of wires and spin the shaft. It always fascinates me that many of you don't just experiment. You just as easily try it instead of asking others to tell you if it will work. You can learn a lot by experimenting, taking things apart, playing with them.
