- omg i was going to post the same question!!!!! im an avid viewer of entourage, and the first episode of the season pissed me off so much. it was so unlike entourage episodes of the past, and it seemed like the whole show changed including the fundamentals of the characters. also, it doesnt make sense to me that after making one flop, vinny chase can not make one movie?!?! that makes no sense, look at someone like chris rock or ben stiller, their movies always suck but they keep getting work. also, they just stopped mentioning silo. the whole first episode i was screaming WHAT ABOUT SILO?!?!?! lol oh well, the season has gotten better, yesterday's episode with dom was one of my favorites so far.

- Nuclear science is the first step before serious space travel. Controlled fusion is probably needed to travel in deep space. Aliens are checking the state of nuclear mastery (which is not very advanced) to evaluate: why we are stuck with bombs and fission, how long will it take to build advanced nuclear engines, a general evaluation of technologies and organization. As soon as men travel into deep space, man may be a potential 'threat' to other space civilizations.

- You need to find the three areas. 1- area of outside cylinder = 2 x pi x radius x height 2- area of top. Two calculations required, and you subtract them. Area of a circle is pi x [radius squared] so you first work it out using the 5.0m diameter (1), then work it out using diameter as 5.0m - 10cm (2). The total surface area will be (1) - (2). 3- using the diameter/radius from (2) you can now work out the inside surface area using 2 x pi x radius x height So this gives you the total surface area, divide this by 12m^2 tells you how many cans you need and then multiply by $14.98.

- Depends on how strong the US would be after two years at -25 F in the dark. You need to think things through better than that. China would be a glass bowl and so would large segments of the Russian Federation. And if the rest of us survived the first two weeks of radioactive fallout, then we would have the fun of scrapping with our neighbors for the last bits of food and fuel in the midst of nuclear winter.

- Due to the processes and the materials inside silos, explosions and fires are fairly common. The dome-shaped top can, believe or not, pop off, so all of the fire and stuff can go out the top instead of pushing out the walls. Everything is controlled, preventing deaths and injuries from the shrapnel that would go everywhere if the whole silo were to explode.
