The application of the 25MVA/110kV railway balance traction transformer, and matches well with the transmission capacity of UHV lines, which has wide prospect of application. Because of its large capacity and large volume, the whole transportation weight with nitrogen is about 470-490 tons, and due to the restricted transport conditions, the transportation becomes the critical issue for application of the 25MVA/110kV railway balance traction transformer. In order to make the products applicable to any UHV substation in our country, the state grid of corporation of China set the "A study of easy-transport large capacity UHV Transformer” as a key scientific research projects, and entrusted BTW to carry out the research.

During the process of research and development, BTW adopted the advanced design technology and modular design, the transformer can be transported disassembly and with advantages of compact core and winding body, less transportation weight and low transportation cost, effectively solves the need of UHV construction in the transportation restricted areas. Verdugo: go to the transformer and check for power coming out you should get a 24 volts dc. Then, check for power across the switch you should get the same, then check for power at the bell. If you have power at the transformer and not the switch then re-wire the system. The key is having power. If you have power at the switch and nothing happens when you press on the switch and you do have power at the door bell when you press the switch then the bell is bad. That simple. Just follow the circuit. and just comdem where it stops. you can also check for continuity at the switch. if you don't get any signal when you press on it. the switch is bad.

A 120 volt-to-12 volt step down transformer has a 10:1 ratio. This means that the voltage coming OUT of the transformer will be 10 times less than the voltage going IN, and the amperage coming OUT the transformer will be 10 times more than the amperage going IN. If you connect a 60 watt 12 volt car headlight bulb to the output of your transformer, there will be 5 amps flowing from the transformer to the bulb, but only 1/2 an amp flowing from your wall outlet into the transformer. If you connect 2 bulbs, you would have 10 amps coming out, and 1 amp going into the transformer. You sure will, as everyone else has said. An old fashioned way of generating that voltage in a more constant fasion is to get ahold of an old electromagnetic buzzer. You might even find one in a hardware store. Put the buzzer in series with a battery and the low voltage side of the transformer, and turn it on. The buzzer makes and breaks the circuit by pulling the armature towards an electromagnet when power is applied. The Armature is basically configured as a switch, when the armature is pulled to a certain point, the switch opens and the magnetic field turns off. When the armature springs back, it makes contact again and the process repeats. This switching on and off generates pulses to the transformer at a steady rate, and the HV pulses are seen at the other side of the transformer. You dont even need that capacitor. NOW LISTEN, THIS CAN BE DANGEROUS! The HV Pulses can shock you. DONT TRY THIS AT HOME!!! BE CAREFUL !!
