A squirrel-cage rotor is the rotating part (rotor) used in the most common form of AC induction motorIt consists of a cylinder of steel with aluminum or copper conductors embedded in its surfaceAn electric motor with a squirrel-cage rotor is termed a squirrel-cage motorA wound-rotor motor is a type of induction motor where the rotor windings are connected through slip rings to external resistancesAdjusting the resistance allows control of the speed/torque characteristic of the motorWound-rotor motors can be started with low inrush current, by inserting high resistance into the rotor circuit; as the motor accelerates, the resistance can be decreased
what kind of things can i grind up to make some aluminium powder? please tell me all the things you know of, and don't say what are you doing with it? or what are you gonna be a terrorist and make explosives? dont ask any of those
The only place to get it is from a reputable supplier like Fisher Scientific or VWR. This will place you on a FBI list since you wish to have it. I do not believe they will sell to non-business affiliates. If you wish to make it it will be very difficult since most things of aluminum are not pure...even foil has a percentage that is not aluminum. As a chemist I know lots of things you can do with it and I hope you do not wish to make anything horrible. There are numerous chemicals that the company I work have, that have been placed on a Warning list the FBI and various other groups keep for safety hazards as well as potential threats. Hope it helps.
So I was broiling a marinated chicken breast in the toaster oven that I hastily put on the rack on a piece of aluminum foilThen I hear a crackling noise - are they throwing fireworks outside my window? Wonderful, let me go take a look! Hmm, that's a shame, I must've missed itThen I see the toaster oven flickeringOopsI should've put the breast on a pan or patted it dryThankfully I turned it off in timeI'm afraid to turn the toaster oven on againIs it ruined for good? Should I just throw it away? unit:Blackamp;Decker 4-slice Toast-r-Oven
Could be the foil touched the heating element and created a shortTry plugging it in and turn it on to see if it heats upBe ready to unplug it if it starts sparking againUnless it shorted the heating element it should be ok.

Just like you would deep fry french fries, fish, chicken. If you don't have a deep fryer use a deep pot or pan and get your grease hot(flick a little water in the grease after you heat the oil,if it sizzles or pops,it hot enough to deep fry.Just drop your bacon in one slice at a time, cook till it is as brown as you like it ,which will only be a minute or less.Do you plan to batter the bacon in cornmeal? This makes a delicious Tennessee Fried Chicken and is delicious with vegetables.

For science class, this aluminum water bottle was run over, and we need to use air pressure to pop it back out to its original shapeAny ideas?
Due to the compressibility of air, it is an exceptionally unsafe choice for this taskThe bottle is very likely to split and rupture if it has indeed been run overIt will also take a lot of pressure, possibly more than you can trust the cap inlet to containUse water pressure for this task.
every recipie calls for an oven bag but i don't have any nor do i have a way to get any, can i just put aluminum foil over the baking pan and get a similar effect?
