aoxygenbiodinecsodiumdaluminumenickel, 2 electrons lostfmagnesiumname the charge for each element.
All of these elements have a valence of 8Thus, if there are less than 4 valence electrons, the charge will be positiveIf there are more than 4 electrons, the charge will be negativei don't have a periodic table with me, but if you draw out Bohr-Rutherford diagrams it should be pretty easyOh, and if it has 4 valence electrons it could be positive or negative, and this is assuming the we're starting in a neutral state.
Is it okay to use stainless, zinc coated steel, and/or brass compression fittings with aluminum tubing?
You may find the answer could vary depending upon the desired use for the tube and possibly its size and wall thickness.
does any one out there know the recipie to hardees or bojangles eggs i like them, they are very good! i need the recipie plz help me!
If it's cold, set them outside for 10-15 minutesIf notumm that's too bad, unless you want to risk ruining your freezer by sticking them in there:P
What number of valence electrons are indicated by these electrons configurations?a) 1s^2 2s^2 2p^6 3s^2 3p^1
it's Aluminum and has 3 valence electrons.
The only ingredient listed on it is sodium bicarbonate. It DOES NOT specifically say ALUMINUM FREE, but can it still be free of aluminum and just not say so on the package?Does anyone know a company that sells aluminum free baking soda in Canada?
Baking soda does not have aluminum in itIf it did it would not be baking soda since the addition af aluminum would turn it into a different chemical compoundBaking soda is always plain sodium bicarbonateI am sure Canada has just as strict labelling laws as does the US about these things.
Alright, so this is really two questions in one.1, I have a bunch of coins from all over the worldUnfortunately some of them have that nasty black on them that tends to build up on coinsI was wondering if rubbing alcohol is safe to use on coins? I have some really old coins and coins from countries like Rhodesia and CCCP that don't exist anymore, so I cant risk damaging them.2I also have probably about 20 wheatheads, but everyone of them is dull and brown due to ageHow would I make these shine again, like a 2012 penny would? Thanks for the help!
Here's a fun and efficient way to remove tarnishYou will need the following: 1)a tarnished piece of metal 2)a pan or dish large enough to completely immerse the metal in 3)aluminum foil to cover the bottom of the pan 4)enough water to fill the pan 5)a vessel in which to heat the water 6)hot pads or kitchen mitts with which to handle the heated water vessel 7)baking soda, about 1 cup per gallon of water Line the bottom of the pan with aluminum foilSet the metal object on top of the aluminum foilMake sure the metal touches the aluminumHeat the water to boilingRemove it from the heat and place it in a sinkTo the hot water, add about one cup of baking soda for each gallon of water(If you need only half a gallon of water, use half a cup of baking soda.) The mixture will froth a bit and may spill over; this is why you put it in the sinkPour the hot baking soda and water mixture into the pan, and completely cover the metalAlmost immediately, the tarnish will begin to disappearIf the metal is only lightly tarnished, all of the tarnish will disappear within several minutesIf the metal is badly tarnished, you may need to reheat the baking soda and water mixture, and give the metal several treatments to remove all of the tarnish.
Chemistry
It is not based on how much weightIt is based on chemical composition (ex: Iron, Aluminium etc.,) For example: Iron is represented by the symbol FeIt has an atomic number of 26Iron contains 26 protonsIron also contains 26 electronsIt contains 30 Neutrons.
