In continuous units in cold rolled steel strip, galvanized steel (electro galvanized and hot dip galvanized) as substrate, after surface pretreatment (degreasing and science processing), using the method of roll coating, coated with a layer or multi-layer liquid coating of plate, after baking and cooling income is the coating steel plate. Because the coating can have a variety of colors, on the habits of the coated steel sheet is called color coating steel plate. Because the coating is carried out before the sheet metal forming, in foreign countries which is called pre coating plate.

Color coated steel sheet is an organic coating coating on the steel surface, it has the advantages of beautiful appearance, bright color, high strength, good corrosion resistance, easy processing molding, but also allows the user to reduce costs, reduce pollution.

From the United States in 1935 to establish the first continuously coated steel line to begin, color coated steel plate has been widely applied, the current color coated plate varieties, about more than 600 kinds, the advantages of color coated sheet and organic polymer and steel plate of the two, which has good colorability, organic polymer molding, corrosion resistance and decorative, and steel plate with high strength and easy processing, can easily be punching cutting, bending, deep drawing processing. Made this makes organic coated steel sheet products have excellent practical, decorative, workability, durability.

Q:Sstainless steel sword?
i like how you asked this in the Card Games section.
Q:serious question! Dual-phase steel?
Dual Phase steels refers to a distinct group of alloys which are used for automotive bodies. These were developed to give improved deep drawing (for shaping) and strength while on the road. Most of the work was started at the same time in the 1970s as a response to the oil crisis (history repeats!) with SSAB in Europe, US Steel and British Steel leading the way. There are many variants of the dual phase alloys prefered by each of the auto manufacturers. The work on these steels led the way for TRIP (transformation induced plasticity) steels, rephosphorised steels and HSLA (high strength low alloy) steels. There is a distinction between these steels and duplex steels which typically refer to austenitic/ferrtic stainless steels. Also be aware that everyday low carbon steels with 0.1%-0.6% carbon will have a ferritic/pearlitic structure but are not considered to be dual phase So to summarise: Who - major steel companies worldwide When - from about 1973 onwards (up to around 1977 when the developments went in other directions) Where - Europe, USA and Japan (but I'm not sure who it was in Japan doing the work)
Q:Can a bear bend steel?
depends on the steel thickness and positioning. frm your question I'm guessing you're not really well versed in steel framing or use... im guessing whatever you build, a bear can destroy. if i was to build it not even 100 bears can destroy it. it doesn't require much steel, it's just about bracing the positing of steel and some design.
Q:How to restore rusted stainless steel?
Stainless steel doesn't rust, whatever acid you got on it was some pretty bad stuff to make a reaction like that, you can try sanding down past the reaction point and polish it out but that's about it, that or it wasn't stainless to begin with. if its brushed chrome to simulate stainless it would have to be replated, not cheap. and probably not worth it
Q:911 conspiacy theorists. Can fire melt steel?
They can't melt that fast At that temperature, the fire caused by the jet's fuel didn't hot enough to melt the concrete steel. As you see in the video the flame took only 20 minutes. The heat is not fast enough to penetrate all fragment of the concrete steel from top to the foundation, steel is not a good heat conductor like the iron. The explosion only took 5 stories, even all flame in all stories will take 4 hours to melt the core - in this case the core is the worst quality alloy which I don't think is used by WTC. The speed of the falling of WTC building was way too fast. It only took about 9.5 seconds. As an illustration, we throw an object - no matter the weight from the top of WTC, let's count how long it takes from the top to the ground as easy as senior high physics. We took the height of as h = 526.3 m, the gravity 9.8 m/s^2 then apply them to the Newton's equations, h = 1/2*g*t^2 then t = sqrt(2*h/g) = sqrt(526.3/9.8) = 7.32 seconds. The difference is just 2.2 seconds. The resistance of the concrete and solid materials should give at least 200% of the fall duration. WTC's 9.5 secs to fall is even faster a ball sliding on its wall from top the ground. I don't know what happened there. But my Basic Physics lecturer at first grade in my college -who concentrates in Materials- said that it is very odd that the flame burning 5 stories (at most 2% of 110 stories WTC) took only 20 minutes to melt the core of 30% after explosion top stories' core. A friend of mine, got summa cumlaude Bsc in civil engineering - concentrated in structure, said that the pan cake fall has never occured before due to fire causes. If the heat is hot enough to melt the core then the building should bend forward at a broad angle because the strain caused by the heat is not uniformly distributed along the building's core - remember steel is not a good heat conductor. I'm not speculatiing, but 9/11 is an odd tragedy
Q:Is a ring made of steel good?
Steel rust is brown not green! Very much expected to be of one type of stainless steel, and you should have no problem.
Q:Which one steel or metal?
Steel is a metal.
Q:Site that tells the history of Stainless Steel dining Utensils?
The development of 18/10 stainless steel was the brainchild of Harry Brearley who, in 1913, was working on a project to prevent rifle barrels from corroding so much during use. His analysis of the rifle barrels involved having to dissolve them in acid but, by chance, he noticed that steel which had a high chromium content did not dissolve in the acid. He experimented with varying proportions of chromium and finally produced a stainless steel with 12.8% chromium. He moved to Thos Firth Sons in 1914 and commercial production of stainless steel cutlery began. Refinements were necessary because early versions of stainless steel knives were harder to produce and polish, and they would not cut as well as the existing knives.
Q:Long term effects of steel on skin?
Stainless steel contains both nickel and chromium. These two alloys are responsible for most of contact dermatitis in people. Some of my co-workers making steel had such bad reactions to chromium that they had to quit their jobs. Their skin was always inflamed. People don't react to finished stainless steel the same way because the alloys are bonded tightly in the heat treating process. But if you are grinding it and getting the dust on your skin, you could get a contact dermatitis if you are sensitive. I don't think it would absorb into your blood stream or do any long term damage to your skin. If you do get a reaction, you would have to cease your exposure or in a worse case scenario risk getting a body wide reaction like my coworkers. I would not worry about any exposure making rings out of stainless steel. After all, stainless steel is used in sugical implants and most people are fine.
Q:truth of steel Sword making?
I am unsure of what the Truth of Steel is, but here is the Riddle of Steel (from Conan) Thulsa Doom: Yes! You know what it is, don't you boy? Shall I tell you? It's the least I can do. Steel isn't strong, boy, flesh is stronger! Look around you. There, on the rocks; a beautiful girl. Come to me, my child... Thulsa Doom: [coaxes the girl to jump to her death] Thulsa Doom: That is strength, boy! That is power! What is steel compared to the hand that wields it? Look at the strength in your body, the desire in your heart, I gave you this! Such a waste. Contemplate this on the tree of woe. Crucify him!
