metal sheath (lead or corrugated aluminium)
hdpe or pvc outer sheath power cable.
Laying conditions: for lyaing under ground with large different altitude, be able to bear external machanical force and moderate pulling force.
3. the power cable's characteristic:
3.1 long time operating temperature for cable conductor is 90 degrees.
3.2 the highest temperature of the conductor in short circuit (no longer than 5 seconds) in not more than 250 degrees,
if a joint is in the cable, the temperature of the tinning welding joint is not more than 120 degrees, compressing joint not more than 150 degrees and electro-welding joint not more than 250 degrees.
3.3 no drop in limited provided there is full mechanical tention when cable is laid. It si forbidden to lay cable in iron-pipe or to fix cable by circling around the cable with iron materials.
3.4 being laid, the minimum temperature of the cable shall not be lower than zero degree. In the case of lower temperature, heating measures shall be taken.

- Q: Hi,I have a set of Sony speakers that are a few years old. They have no power cable (nowhere to plug a cable in either) and the aux cable has no jacks. It is just two split wires. How can I connect them to my TV?Thanks,Aaron
- They need an amplifier in order to work....You attach the speakers to the amp then the amp to the TV....You could also take the plastic shell off your TV then disconnect the internal speakers of the TV and solder the wire from the speakers you have onto the wire just connected from the TV speakers...You also would probably need to drill a small hole in the plastic cabinet of the TV in order to pass the wire through... also would need to figure out the polarity of the internal wires and also the speaker wire from the cabinet speakers or satellites...also the Impedance must also match..so it could be that you would need to add a resistor in order to match the impedance of the TV's amplifier....
- Q: The power is a 24 pin and does not have a green wire. It has a grey, 6 red, 3 blue, a yellow , an Orange, a purple, a dark blue, 8 black, and a brown
- MATERIALS 1.) power supply 2.) power cable 3.)paper clip Step 1 Plug in the Power Cable to the wall, and then into the back of the Power Supply. Make sure the Power Supply is flipped to 1 and not 0. I like to remember 1 is for power because 1 looks like I, and I have ADHD. So I always haves me some powers. 0 is like O which is like my OH face. Then I am drained of power. Step 2 Take the paper clip and bend it into a 'U' shape. We want the two ends of it to be next to each other, or relatively close. Step 3 Now we are in the final step. Locate the Green wire on your PSU. There should only be one Green wire, whether you have a 20 or 24 pin power cable. Alright, we found it. Now we get have to find a Black wire on your PSU as well. There are a few, but we should be fine. Finally, take the paper clip and insert one end into the Green wire and the other end into any Black wire. And there we have it. Your power supply is alive and kicking. Again, this is a good way to test fans for functionality, CD-ROMs, and Floppy Drives. Almost any component that will plug into this is fine. I would not advise for your hard drive in case of data loss, but if it's a questionable hard drive (why else would we test it?) then you I'm guessing you don't care if it has anything on it, or it's too old to matter.
- Q: My girlfriend recently damaged (beyond repair) her hp touchsmart tm2 notebook pc Power Cable. I was wondering if laptop power cables are pretty generic, or is there a specific one that i need to order?
- Look for a number on the front of the converter box on the charger it should be a combination of letters and numbers. Just type in your Google shopping search bar Laptop charger XXX and look at compatible results. Don't even try to look up one on hp's site, they will charge you about 5 times what it will cost you for one on OKorder or something. Hope this helps :D
- Q: or do I need to buy one?
- Yes it's a standard 3 prong pc plug.
- Q: I live in Chicago, and I want to know if somebody can help me. The next house on mine have electrical power cable, telefon and cable from my back yard and pas my propriety aprox 60 tf, the last two stay on my garage, its legal ?Know haw i can do to move the cable? some codes or regulation, samething? Thanks, Best regards.
- I do not know the codes or regulations in Chicago but i do know in most states it against the law to have power lines resting on a structure. Those two lines resting on the garage could be the cable and phone company's and that is not against the law. However you could call the phone company and cable company and ask them to move them for you. If you can make a valid point that those lines are causing you harm or disturbing you in anyway possible then the company's will have to move it. And for the power cables there is probably nothing you can do unless it is really resting on your garage. But they will just tighten the line and not actually move it.
- Q: Will it work if I put a pigtail (connect the wires by twisting them together) or does that stop it from working properly..
- Unplug it, get rid of the battery. Then carry the potential button for 10 seconds. Reinstall the battery, plug it in and charge the battery without using it until eventually it is totally charged.
- Q: I have a SATA DVD burner SATA 160GB HD .... but the PSU only comes with ONE SATA power connector .... great ..I was thinking about buying a SATA host controller card ... but I found out that that will only give me more SATA ports and take up one of my PCI slots LOLThen I was thinking about returning my SATA DVD burner for an IDE DVD burner ...
- What the sata connector/converter does is the same as the molex plug does on a ATA device, it just allows you to use the molex plugs as your power source for the SATA devices. Your devices should have a 4 pin connector for the molex so you really don't need the converter plug, as either way you only use one power plug. Don't use both (serial power connection 4 pin molex on one device) and there should be a warning label on the device that says the same.
- Q: my Sony Bravia KDL32BX300 power cable has been partly chewed by a hamster, whats the best way to fix this, to cut off damaged wiring and replace the plug or do i need to replace the whole power cable?? thanks
- Change the cable and give the hamster away.
- Q: NE1 have a surge protector and power filter for there home theatre stuff? If so what is the model and did it make a difference? I have RF grounding problem through my cable and was wondering if the moster cable boxes would help clean up the signal. I have to wrap a wire around the coax cable and ground it to something to make SOME not all of the noise dissappear. (lines rising from bottom to top of picture) Obviously I want a more definate and permant solution. Thanks.
- Yes, a power conditioner will not only clean the power, but take out any humming or ground loop issues. I noticed a difference in audio and video. I have a Monster Power MKIII 3600. I got it for $200, on sale at Circuit City a year ago. I highly recommend it if you have a multi-component home theater or expensive TV. I have a 50 plasma, DVD player, Comcast box, AV receiver, Xbox and Nintendo Wii. They are all connected through the power conditioner.
- Q: Only the ground cable is green, the two other cables are gray and I noticed that one is with stripes the other is not... The maker is Smart Choice. - there is more clue, one cable end is coded with a letter Z , other W , than G .... the G is probably the ground ( green ) . I need to know which one will connect to the black wire and which to the white one. Please help. Thank you
- The neutral or grounded conductor will be the one with the stripe or ridge on it. This will connect to the white wire or neutral connection on the dishwasher. You can follow it down and see that it will be the wider of the two power prongs. Green or bare will be for equipment grounding and will connect to the frame of the dishwasher. Usually this is a green screw.
