Q:Bench press works my triceps more than my chest :(?
It happens when your chest is very weak your triceps has to overload in that situation.Keep training once your chest gets as strong as your triceps you will feel it more on your chest. When i used to do incline barbell presses with 245lbs for reps in bulking my shoulders used to take over most of the weight than my chest since my shoulder press was close to or as strong as my incline bench press and my chest was weak but now i feel nothing on my shoulder since i am on different season and dont go that heavy. Also make sure you use better form and grip.About the width place your hands little more than shoulder width.I place my hands on the 2 silver rings on each side.If the bar has 3-4 rings put your hands on the 3rd silver ring.I try to bench with a bar with 1 ring since its easier for me. Also when you do bench don't lockout on each and every rep.Keep the burn on the chest.People might say half reps or whatever but it works your chest. After all you are working your chest not your shoulder or triceps. It got its own day. Good luck. Email me if you got more questions.
Q:Help with bench pressing?
You can't put balance aside, because that's the very thing that separates the two. And your muscles definitely know the difference. The bench press is a free weight exercise, and any free weight exercise is more effective in building muscle for two reasons. One, because it incorporates stabilizer muscles to assist in the movement, meaning more muscles being worked. Two, because the human body responds better to movements it would do naturally. That last part basically means your body grows better when subjected to something heavy, rather than machines, which are merely hard. This isn't to say that you should give up the machine, and it certainly isn't for wusses. Machines force proper form, and isolate the muscle you are trying to work. Do the bench press first in your workout, and the machine press toward the end, when you're tired.
Q:How to increase bench press?
heavy weight low reps. bench the max you can do: say if you can bench 185 3 or 4 times then that would be good. go for as many sets as you can untill you cant push any more. try not to bench more than 3 times a week. and slowly increase the weight by maybe 5 lbs every other week. or if you can handle more than 5lbs then go for it . you are in a powerlifting type workout to build strength and size.
Q:Why is it called an 8 cup press?
It never assumes you will use Mugs. always that you will use small coffee cups. Hence only 4 cups not 8. By the way it is a Cafetiere not a press.
Q:If you bench press, is it the same as doing push ups?
Bench Press is not the same as doing pushups because it is more concentrated on the chest. Pushups work the chest, arms and abs. The area of the chest that is worked is also different. A great strategy is to do Bench press and top it off with some pushups. Good Luck!!
Q:how can i bench press with only dumbells?
AS A MATTER OF FACT YOU CAN USE DUMBBELLS TO DO BENCH PRESSES, BUT IF I WAS YOU ID START OUT LIGHTER THAN TO 40 LB DUMBBELLS , WORK YOUR WAY UP TO THAT WEIGHT AND I AM SURE YOU CAN DO IT. OKAY SAY YOU START OUT WITH DUMBBELLS. SAY 10 LBS OKAY THAT WILL BE REALLY 20 LBS IF YOU ADD THEM UP. AM GOING TO GIVE YOU MY EMAIL PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ADD ME AND LETS TALK ABOUT REACHING YOU GOAL AND THE SAFEST WAY TO ACCOMPLISH THIS .
Q:Printing press and the Age of Enlightenment...?
The printing press helped with the development of the English language. With the press, more texts were available to the public. With more texts available, literacy increased among the masses. Once literacy takes a foothold, you see advances across the board. I would do a search using key phrases with The History of the English Language. Once you have some titles to work with, you should check out the Project Gutenberg website; it has older texts available on-line for free. Once there, you can obtain quotes and information to cite. I hope this was a little helpful.
Q:cold press technique?
Cold press is a processing technique, shea butter doesn't grow naturally in the wild in its processed form. From Wikipedia: Cold pressed or Cold extraction means that the oil was not heated over a certain temperature (usually 80 °F (27 °C)) during processing, thus retaining more nutrients and undergoing less degradation.[29]
Q:How can you obtain press pass for photographers?
Jose, The professional sports photographers you see at the major games are all there with a magazine or publication of some type. Obtaining press passes as an individual is close to impossible. However, you would contact the publicity company of whoever the home team is. They are who have the final say (not the vendor) of whether or not you can get a press pass. Veteran photographers have seasonal press passes for certain teams which also works out quite nicely. If you want to jump into pro, I'd say start off at your local newspaper. Photographing high school sports, local sporting teams, etc. Then, after you've built a portfolio, start looking to actual publications. Even if they say they'll do you freelance, they can still provide you with press passes.
Q:good press defence?
You have a couple of options. First you can do a 1-3-1 half court trap defense where you trap the ball right when it crosses the half court line. It is not much of a full court press but if done correctly it can really drive opposing guards nuts, especially if they are inexperienced. You can do the same 1-3-1 but extend it to full court. Or you can do a 1-2-2. put one person on the OOB passer and two by the free throw line and two at half court. Since this is a 6th grade league not too many of them should be able to pass a full length pass. Once the ball gets thrown in play the person on the ball and one of the guards traps right away and the oppostite gaurd plays the first pass. The two at half court just make sure that no one gets behind them and offer help to the 3 players doing the trapping.
