Q:My friend's brother placed a vacuum cleaner up to his nipple....?
why doesn't he just do it to the other nipple too, then they'll be the same, and then you could go the gym and look for some chest exercises, that way they nipple size will stay equal.. ...[rofl]
Q:Which came first, wall-to-wall carpeting or vacuum cleaners?
Carpeting, obviously. The vacuum couldn't come until LONG after the discovery of electricity. We have proof of carpeting before that, but not with such high pile.
Q:Who has owned and recommends Electrolux vacuum cleaners?
I bought a Guardian Aerus Electrolux. The Electrolux at Sears is a Fancy Kenmore with the Electrolux label. The true Electrolux has to have the Aerus Logo. Check with dealers. At first I loved mine but then it started losing suction. I had it serviced but it was never the same. I would recommend the SEBO it is a hospital grade vacuum and I like it SOOO much better! I have three kids with allergies and a dog... I had to have a good vacuum and I have owned Kirbie's, Electrolux, Stand up traded it up right away, for the Guardian, after a few years hated it it was bulky and lost suction, traded up for a Sebo and WOW I love it... And it is a stand up. But the suction is just as good as a canister.. Usually Canisters have more suction.... My mother also loves her Sebo and she has 4 dogs. We are corky and one day bored we argued over who had the better vacuum... Needless to say she won... I used the Guardian and then she went over the same spot with the Sebo and I was impressed on how much stuff she was able to pick up!!!
Q:Would this be a good vacuum cleaner?
check with Which? - an excellent unbiased publication.
Q:What is the best vacuum cleaner made?
The Majestic by Filter Queen. It filters at .10 of a micron, which is 3 times smaller than HEPA, is actually a type 2 medical device, and is the only vac than can be legally operated in a restaurant while people eat. It also doubles as a 40 lb blower, and if you put it hose to hose with Kirby (the Kirby switched to high even), it will reverse the motor on the Kirby and suck the bag right out of it. It has a metal guard on the in port, so you can suck up a bolt, and entire ashtray of cigarette butts, it does not matter.... it will not clog, it will not break. Best vac ever.
Q:How can i vacuum hair off the carpet without destroying the vacuum cleaner?
Get your self a cat. then let it lick up the hair.
Q:Any ideas for a great vacuum?
Any vacuum with good power will work. The recommended power is at least 12 amps. However, I have found that if a vacuum looses suction it doesn't matter how many amps it has. After many years of buying vacuums once a year, I finally gave up and bought a Dyson. They are wonderful but are a bagless vacuum and can be pretty pricey. About the same as the Electrolux. I understand the cost issue believe me, that's why I always bought the cheaper vacuums, it was all I could afford at the time. But like I said, I usually had to replace them once a year. Try to get the best vacuum you can afford right now. Look for 12 amps or higher. Hoover makes some good models. But seriously think about saving up for either a Dyson or Electrolux down the road. The investment will save you a lot of time and headaches and you will be glad you did.
Q:are all motors the same size in kenmore canister vacuums?
I would think not. Look at the specs for vacuums you might be interested in and compare the amps or watts or whatever electrical spec is in vogue this year for vacuum cleaners.
Q:Is there a silent vacuum cleaner?
Yes, it's that little one that goes around and vacuums on it's own, I saw it advertised on tv...
Q:Okay, friends, a question about vacuums?
Well, I've had a Kirby since 1979 and it's still going strong. I've always had cats and dogs and whatever other critters in the house. They're expensive - I think I paid close to $500 when I bought it with all the attachments - rug shampooer, carpet cleaner, etc - but considering I've had it over 30 years, I've gotten my money's worth. I've only had to replace the belt twice. I think they cost about $6 last time I bought one.
