Q: Should I ask for them one at a time?Or both together on my 16th birthday? - it's in October...
Congrats on the recent piercing =) nicely, a buddy of mine had hers achieved, and from what i found out while chatting with my piercer (making plans to get mine on Friday!!) Scaffolds take in to a 12 months to heal, and that they do bleed. merely be optimistic to scrub it, and take stable care of it, if its hurting take an ibuprofen as they're anti-inflammatory so as that they are going to take down the swelling and minimise the discomfort some bleed greater beneficial than others Its like discomfort, some locate discomfort greater tolerable than others do each and all the suitable xxx

Q: So I'm going to get a scaffold/industrial piercing, and I had a few questions:-does your ear have to be a special quot;shapequot;? Like I mean does you outer ear cartilage rim have to stick more so it can be pierced? My outer cartilage rim is a little flat but it still sticks up -Would this make my piercing reject? Thanks! :)))
You can still get the scaffold done, but it might not take to your body well. You also need to be careful of the piercer that you choose. If your piercer places the bar in the wrong place, it can cause keloids or stress bumps. This might also happen if you don't have the right ear. I got an industrial, and my piercer didn't seem to put the bar exactly where I wanted on one end. Although I took very good care of my piercing, and didn't put any stress on it, I still got a keloid on that side of the ear, and it wouldn't go away. A lot of my friends had beautiful industrials, and I couldn't figure out why mine looked the way I did until I did a little more research, and the keloid appeared because my piercer did not pierce my ear in the correct location. I had to remove the piercing for the keloid to disappear. This might happen to those who don't have ears that are fit for an industrial. If you do decide to get it, please don't mess with it (although it's hard not to). When you sleep, try cupping your hand over your ear so that you don't put pressure on the piercing. :-) If you don't know what side you'd like it on, get it on the side that you sleep on the least. You may get a bit of a stress bump around the piercing, but these tend to disappear once the piercing heals up.
Q: I have had a scaffold piercing since october last year(2012) and I don't think it's healing very well I clean it 2-3 times a day and twist it every now and again but it just keeps going red and saw I'd there anything I shoud do (btw I'm 14 and I live in the UK near London area?)And neither do I have keloids and it also scabs up a little still and hurt and burns, I use salt and water in a mug and clean with cotton buds.
Scaffold is a cartilage piercing and cartilage piercings need 1 full year to fully heal if treated properly for the whole healing period. They are nothing like other piercings, they are not easy to heal and they have their ups and downs while doing so. They can stay irritated, swollen and painful for long, bumps can be formed around them which also can get infected. All this goes away after proper care but can happen again days or even months later. So you need to be extra careful with it and follow your piercers after care instructions by the book if you want to keep yourself and the piercing healthy. You need to do sea salt soaks 2 times a day for the whole healing period and never stop. How to do : Warm water (8oz) + non iodized salt (1/4 teaspoon) mixed in a cup. Soak the piercing in for 10 minutes, 2 times a day. Use a q-tip to clean around the piercing thoroughly, rinse with water and pat it dry with a paper towel. Until the piercing is fully healed don't : Touch it, twist the jewelry, play with it, sleep on it, change the jewelry or take it out but only touch it with freshly washed hands to clean it. Do not twist the jewelry. If a piercing is freshly cleaned it can easily slide in and out with the slightest push. Some kids mistakenly think that if you don't twist the jewelry it will somehow get stuck to the skin and never move again. This is a bad myth and can never happen. If you keep twisting the jewelry the crusties that are naturally created and attacked to the jewelry will keep scratching the inside part of the piercing ( the actual wound ) causing trauma again and again, irritating the piercing and dealing the healing process. A new piercing , especially cartilage ones need cleaning, time to heal and avoid touching.
Q: Bowl buckle scaffold construction needs to pay attention to what problems
Bowl buckle scaffold construction need to pay attention to the problem is:Safety technical clarification before construction. ?Strictly in accordance with the requirements of the construction plan and set up in accordance with the JGJ59-99 scaffold inspection requirements for acceptance
Q: i need a peircing in my right ear can i do scaffolding my self? whats the risks?
I'm sure you probably could, but I wouldn't recommend it. These piercings tend to be a bit more costly, mine was like 55 dollars I think, but it's definately worth it. The thing with this piercing is that if you mess up the angles or if the alignment is even a little off, you're piercing won't heal and you'll just have to take it out anyway. It's an amazing piercing to have and good luck if you decide to do it yourself. :)
Q: ~ I was thinking about getting it done for my 16 birthday. BUT I wanted to know how bad does it hurt???And if I do get it done is it best that.... I go to a tattoo shop to get it??
Places like Claire's don't do those piercings, a tatto or piercing parlor would be the only place that does it. Check online and call in and read reviews before you go anywhere, they have been many places being shut down in USA and Canada for being unsanitary! So make sure your safe because it can perminatly break your cartilage if it's done wrong and you can get mney infections some being deadly and some that leave perminate scars. Make sure it's done safely, sanitary and with a needle. This piercing is more commonaly known as a industrial by the way. 1st of it hurts they all do. This was my most painful piercing ever. Got it done when I was 13, a month before I was 14. Think of it this way: 2 holes being stabbed into your ear connected by a bar. You bump on the other is automatically affected. I would definatly rate it 8.5/10. It was soberly painful. Hurts for a while and healing process is annoying as ever. Worth it for me in my opinion.
