Tower Crane of Jing Kui Model Number QTZ60(TP4810)QTZ60(TP4810)  FAQ

Q: Can you equip with light on tower crane jib, monitor, remote control and anemometer?

A: Sure. All of these could be provided with extra cost upon the clients’ requirements. But according to general practice, remote control is not suggested because most of the operator feedback operation in the cabin will provide a wide working view.

Q: What kind of steel used for tower crane?

A: Normally, as for the main force bearing steel structure, Q345B is adopted; as for the assistance force bearing steel structure Q235B is adopted. All of the raw material is outsourced from qualified steel factory in China.

Q: What is the function of the monitor?

A: Monitor, namely inspection system (like black box), which could store 10000 tower crane operation reports, and it is recommended to be installed in big cranes more than 16t.

Q:Just curious... I'm not in construction and always wondered...
The top sections of the mast beneath the crane are removed one at a time and lowered to the ground. The top section of the crane has hydraulic rams that lower it down one mast section at a time. It is hard to describe without a diagram or photos. See photos at attached link. In some design, the jacking portion is at ground level. The crane jacks itself up so a 20' section of the mast can be unbolted and slide out. Then the jack is lowered so the process can be repeated. See second link for photos and a more detailed explanation.
Q:I know that an ancient Japanese legend promises that anyone who folds a thousand origami cranes will be granted a wish by a crane, such as long life or recovery from illness or injury. This summation, or something like it comes up in every search I do for the legend. Is there a full story that goes with the original legend? If so I would very much like to read it. Wikipedia doesn't have it. Also, while Sadako's story is very touching, it is not the one I'm looking for.
It okorder / I'll keep looking and see if I can find out an origin and add a bit more later.
Q:My friend from the internet has an injured crane in her backyard, does anyone know how to keep it calm so she can bring it to the humane society? She says she's called very animal rescue place she knows and none can help so now she's just sitting with it because kids keep throwing sticks at it.
Thow a blanket over the entire bird, beak and all, and push it to the ground, making sure the beak does not come out. Tuck the feet and legs underneath the bird through the blanket, and grasp the neck through it. Then pick up the birds body in the blanket (carefully, because it has to move its chest to breathe) and place it in an appropriate sized plastic animal carrier or large cardboard box with a lid. That is how you transport a crane to anywhere. You MUST control the head because he will gladly put your eye out with his beak.
Q:Are the creators of the Karate Kid movies apologetic about the white crane defensive stance?
Why should they be? That stance is from an art that is practiced by a small number of practitioners in Okinawa known as Hakutsuru, which means White Crane. It was hollywood-ized... so what? The original movie was written by a practitioner of Goju Ryu, who trained in NYC under an instructor from the Bronx named Kao Loong Ong. He knew there was a link between White Crane and the development of Okinawan Karate. Robert Kamen trained with Kayo, as he is known, who is Chinese and is well known in NYC's China Town. If they should apologize, hollywood must apologize for their misrepresentation of SO many things - insults to practically all the cultures of the world.
Q:Why are electromagnets on junkyard cranes generally circular in shape?
Blow a bubble with gum and you will realize the most efficient shape in nature. Sphere or circle. Whether it is a crane or the wheel, a helpful shape to be sure. The engineer to be has it right.
Q:Does anyone knows where could I find this book online and free ? I would love to read it from my tablet or computer
The Lost Language of Cranes is a novel by David Leavitt, first published in 1986. So the author wasn't thinking about ebooks back then and never signed a contract to make ebooks. See if your public library has a copy in paper. Amazon sells it in paperback and hardcover. Anyone that has a copy for free has stolen intellectual property and is cheating the author and publisher.
Q:so yeah i know that cranes do the main work but i guess there are no such really toll cranes to do that with skyscrapers ?
The cranes hook to the side of the building and climb the steel frame as it is being built. The crane can only reach a few stories so it has to climb each story's steel frame as it is finished.
Q:Please help!
The Fāng family lived in Fujian, a province of China, in a place where there were many cranes. Qīniáng's father knew the Southern Chinese martial arts and taught them to his daughter. One day, while Qīniáng was doing her chores, a crane alighted nearby. Qīniáng tried to scare the bird off using a stick and the skills she learned from her father but whatever she did, the crane would counter. Qīniáng tried to hit the crane on the head, but the bird moved its head out of the way and blocked the stick with its wings. Qīniáng tried to hit the crane's wings, but the crane stepped to the side and this time blocked with the claws of its feet. Qīniáng tried to poke the crane's body, but the crane dodged backwards and struck the stick with its beak. From then on, Qīniáng carefully studied the movements of cranes and combined these movements with the martial arts she learned from her father, creating the White Crane style of Fujian Province. A side note from someone else: There are many versions of this legend, it is unlikely that the crane actually blocked the stick Qīniáng used, it is more likely that it evaded, and countered. The point of the style is to make less use of physical strength, stressing evasion, and attacks to vulnerable areas instead. Not depending on strength, is what makes white crane fitting elements so popular, especially for women’s self defence. Popular karate bunkai (breakdown) of white crane katas like hakutsuru, stress vital point striking or kyusho. The white crane system is not practiced much, if at all, anymore. There are several kata in karate, that have white crane elements, most stem from the Chinese tea merchant on Okinawa, Go Kenki, but few, if any, have the true white crane system anymore. There's also a tibetan style and a karate style named after it that strongly resembles it and incorporates much of the same methods.
Q:how does a crane operator's knowledge of where the centroid is generally located for most uniform objects help them perform their job more safely?
If an object is uniform, it's a fair bet the centre of mass will be at the centre of the shape. If lifting with slings, he will have them placed equidistant from centre, at an angle to each other not exceeding 60 degrees. He will then lift a little, and can tell by the angles from vertical of each sling whether or not the CM is under the centre of the crane cable. If not, he will lower the load, and have someone adjust the sling positions. Having slings equally loaded ensures a level load when lifting, and when a load is level it is a much safer lift than when it tilts one way or the other. A tilt would mean greater force in the sling on the low end. The load could slip out, or the excess force could break the sling.
Q:I'm researching Stephen Crane for an English project and I need to how Stephen Crane's works effected others. Thanks for the help! xP
I'd mention his book Red Badge of Courage and how it changed the war novel for American and English writers. You can look at books like Catch-22 , MASH, or Hemingway's war novels and find that personal voice that Crane used.
