Q:Is there a certain direction and reason a construction worker will leave a crane facing a certain direction.
I don't think there is a particular direction unless prevailing winds are a factor. Here in Las Vegas, cranes, when idle don't seem to have a pattern. At least from what I have seen.
Q:I have always wondered how they get cranes off the top of huge buildings when they finish building them.I have had many people tell me how they THINK the cranes are taken off. But I want to know for sure. Can anyone give me some evidence? A web site or something??When I say big building I mean like 100 storeys.I have been told things ranging from a helicopter takes them offToThey build tracks down the side of the building and drive it downAndThey pull it to pieces and take it down the elevator. These MAY be real but sound like wild guesses to me.So does anyone know the answer?
Large okorder .
Q:What should I do with them? who would accept them if I donated them?
Maybe go to a children's hospital and see if they will accept it. If they won't maybe they will know of an organization that will.
Q:On the show Passions was Fox Crane ever sexually assaulted?
he and several other male characters have been sexually assaulted. Oddly enough, men on the show are equally as likely to be violated as women. Fox Crane, Julian Crane, Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald, Miguel Lopez-Fitzgerald, and Ethan Winthrop have all been victims of sexual assault. His individual character bio doesn't describe about it though.
Q:I am NCCCO certified here in the US and would like to know how to be able to work as an operator in France.
Me too(NCCCO) how long for you? What do you run? I run a Terrex/demag a/c 140, Grove TMS 870, and a little national 40 ton. Anyway, sorry I don't have an answer but the other day just for kicks I was looking around to see what's going on and searching crane operator+job and there's a huge worldwide company, slips my mind but they kept coming up all over hiring operators all over the world. Give that a try, if I was single I'd be going everywhere, and getting PAID to do it but my wife and kids mean too much to be away. Try this.... search crane service+france email some crane outfits and ask around, it can't hurt.
Q:The special equipment specified by the state is a periodical inspection cycle, wherein the crane is carried out every many years
Special equipment including boilers and pressure vessels (including gas cylinders), pressure piping, elevator, crane, field (factory) in special vehicles, large recreation facilities, passenger ropeway, regular inspection period of their different. The periodic inspection period of hoisting machinery is usually two years.
Q:what are the effects of fiction in cranes?
Huh? Cranes like the bird or like the construction equipment?
Q:I am making a crane(jib) whatever you call it and I have a concept for the crane itself but not for how I will actually move the camera. I heard wires work but I can not seem to grasp teh concept.* It is a heaver camera by the way*
On a real camera crane you would press the up and down button that moves the wrist part of it. ( I drove a forklift). If you are doing to yourself you'll have to rely on the elbow movements. I might think about renting a Genie lift. And letting someone be your hands in the thing. Unless you know how to build a fully articulating hydraulic ball-joint?
Q:do they start with the crane house and keep adding sections underneath it? Or do they build they tower and then somehow top it with the actual crane?
The cranes are taken to the top of the buildings in pieces and then they are built together whilst up there.
Q:I give up...Somebody who understands The Decemberists please tell me what a Crane's Wife is and what the song is about. I love the song, I sing along loudly, but I don't have a clue.
I found this on wikipedia. The Crane Wife is an old Japanese tale. While there are many variations of the tale, a common version is that a poor man finds an injured crane on his doorstep (or outside with an arrow in it), takes it in and nurses it back to health. After he releases the crane, a woman appears at his doorstep with whom he falls in love and marries. Because they need money, his wife offers to weave wondrous clothes out of silk that they can sell at the market, but only if he agrees never to watch her making them. They begin to sell them and live a comfortable life, but he soon makes her weave them more and more. Oblivious to his wife's diminishing health, his greed increases. He eventually peeks in to see what she is doing to make the silk she weaves so desirable. He is shocked to discover that at the loom is a crane plucking feathers from her own body and weaving them into the loom. The crane, seeing him, flies away and never returns.
