So, Fujian White Crane is Yung Chun Bai He(r) It is a Lan Pai (nam-pai) chuan. The 'nam pai chuan' that you refers to is a synthesised competitive form with elements from a few well-known Lan-Pai styles, like Hung Chia. Lan pai refers to all Chinese Martial Arts originating south of the Yellow River. You will need to know what your Load weighs. How high in the air the crane will have to lift it. ....Putting a swimming pool in the back yard is completely different ....than putting that same swimming pool up on top of a 15 story ....building. How close to the Load can the crane park? Or how far you need the LOAD moved. What a crane can lift, even if it a 100 ton crane is based on how far the crane has to reach to pick up the load and how much the crane has to rotate to place the load. The angle the crane boom goes to, etc. Our 15 ton PH crane can lift 30 thousand pounds at 10 feet from the Turning center. And only a 1,000 pounds or less if the boom is fully extended with the Jib on, that is 125 feet away from the turning center of the crane. Distance is critical! - Well if you don't want to keep them you can look up organizations that wish to use them for a project. There are a lot for Japan, one that was organized recently for the tsunami was accepting cranes for a fundraiser (every crane sent in earned a certain amount of money with the finished collection being placed in an art museum). I know some hospitals accept cranes for the children's ward, that is what my class did in elementary school we made 1000 and the hospital used them as decorations for the Christmas tree. Then there are individual projects that people start online with which they are accepting cranes to fulfill the one thousand mark for people they know who are sick etc. (relates to the story behind the 1000 paper cranes practice).
