Q: wires have been cut and i have 4 wires i dont know what do.what colors are for what?: What are you wiring??

Q: I am doing wiring in my shed on preexisting light fixtures and outlets. the wiring that was disconnect from that carried the electricity to it. What I am trying to do is have all the light fixtures work of an extension cord. I have another extension wire connected to that with the +, - and 0 showing. The fixtures have 3 wires coming out of them what I think to be the power in, power out, and switch. On the fixture on the end I connected my extension cord thing and it work, BUT only that one. The rest of the fixtures did not work, I do see anything wrong. What I thought was that I was connecting to the switch wire so I changed it and it just buzzed with blue light. Q: I have a set of pilot wi-200 strobe lights and they have three wires and i want to hook them up to a optx headlight strobe control module the wires are gray white and black can you tell me where to hook them: I wouldn't try it. The gray, white, and black wires are the high voltage strobe wires. The control module changes the patterns before the voltage is increased. There is nothing you can do here.

Solder?: You can use a Scotch Block Electrical Connector, or Scotch-Lok if you put them on correctly you won't have any trouble with the connection, these are fast connectors. If they are going to be outside in the dirt and rain, heat shrink wrap them, you should really always do that but especially out in the weather.

Q: need to know how to properly wire this amp in a truck: wow I have never heard of this amp until u mentioned it. the ratings seem good. ur best option would be to call sonic electronics have them send you a manual on how to wire this amp. they sell this amp. I mean u ask how to properly wire it. wire it to get power ? or to the woofers ? red wire + goes to your battery. black wire - goes to your ground (not your battery) to the frame of ur vehicle. then u need a blue wire, your remote this wire goes to ur stereo's remote wire it should be the same color or it will be marked. but if u do not know how to hook up an amplifier u should go to a professional shop due to the fact if u improperly hook ur amp up YOU CAN START A FIRE IN YOUR CAR.

Q: There are 3 wires where the old floodlight used to be and only 2 wires attached to the floodlight I want to install. How can I tell which wires connect to which... and what is the third wire?: Usually there is a black wire (hot), a white wire (neutral), and a green or bare wire (ground)... in an ideal world:) If you need to find the hot wire, you can get a non contact voltage finder from lowes or the hardware store. This device will tell you where the AC voltage source is coming from without you even touching the wire. You will need to remove the old light and wire nut the wires. Then turn the electricity back on, use the detector to find out which wire is hot. Connect the black wire on the lamp to the hot wire.

Q: Suppose we have a 10v battery.one end of the battery is at 10V electric potential and other is at 0V Hence,the potential difference is 10V.if we measure the voltage( p.d.) across positive terminal at 10V and the middle of the wire connecting both ends of battery will it be less??I mean,at the middle of the wire the electric will not be zero,right??(correct me if am wrong)Thanks!!: If the wire had some reasonable resistance which prevented melting of the wire and explosion of the battery; the middle of the wire would show half the potential difference between the terminals. Car radio wire switched to stereo red 12v positive. Car radio wire illumination to stereo Dashboard Light Dimmer Switch. Don't forget to ground the black wire on the unit to the ground wire from the car harness. An extra ground strap to the chassis is a good idea also. If you don't have an amp or a power antenna, cap off the blue Remote/Antenna wire.

Q: i need to know how much wire size i have to put for 380 volts supply: Wire size is a function of current, not voltage. So, how much current is your load going to draw.
